Raffles System
I did, I had to unlock the queue in order to re-run it. A bunch of other tasks were getting blocked by the lock. Once I cleared the lock, they completed but Achievements seems to just terminate. There's no other achievement tasks/processes queued up in the core_queue table other than the raffles one at the time. Not sure if deleting that messes up the rest of them or what, but it never finalizes and updates the rank/achievement displays.

Raffles System
Nothing in the task, system or error logs. Anywhere else I can/should look?

Raffles System
So even with the app disabled, this keeps coming back. I deleted the entry for Raffles from core_queue and restarted the rebuild but it comes back. Please let me know when you get a chance to review this as I can't rebuild the achievements currently and they are missing.

Raffles System
I disabled the app and that did it. Had to rerun the Rebuild Members' Achievements as it was hung. Also had to remove the lock on the queue task.

Raffles System
Is there any way I can terminate the task so it doesn't continue running?

Raffles System
Looks like I have a runaway process on Rebuild achievements rule raffles_Raffles? I had to rebuild Members' Achievements and it's been stuck on this process for hours now.

Rank points missing after member account merge?
I found where you can rebuild the Ranks/Achievements via Achievements >> Settings

Rank points missing after member account merge?
Appears Rank points were not carried over in an account merge. Not sure what can be done? Is there a way to recalculate points and rank? EDIT: Actually looking at this closer, it appears all the Actions tied to points and rank were lost in the merge.

No errors on my side in the logs.

IPS Cloud - downtime on 21st March
I may have missed the pre edit request but what is this type of info? AWS does have a health status history of their own but it shows no issues in this time frame https://health.aws.amazon.com/health/status

IPS Cloud - downtime on 21st March
With multi-region and multi-AZ redundancy and availability promising upwards of five 9s (assuming the application is built to conform to these requirements) how exactly does this happen and AWS not know why nearly immediately, nevermind many hours later? I'm baffled by their response especially given the reliability they claim as a major selling point of not just the cloud but specifically their offerings to mitigate this even reactively. Something is tremendously off with the situation and hoping to hear some discovery, lessons learned, and mitigations from IPS as this undoubtedly impacts their own selling strengthen of their cloud solution.

Auto Welcome Support
I also tried this, but same result unfortunately.

Auto Welcome Support
Just wanted to add that the sites do have nearly constant traffic, just not what I'd consider high traffic. So other tasks are running fine and as they should. The Auto Welcome task just never seems to run on its own (despite other tasks running in that same time frame).

Auto Welcome Support
Thanks! I'll keep tinkering around and try to figure out what is going on. The setup seems pretty straightforward, it just isn't working, unless I'm overlooking something somewhere.

Auto Welcome Support
Not high traffic and not using Redis.

Auto Welcome Support
Yep, no issues reported by IPS Support panel. However I am not using cron as the Task Method, I'm using "Run Automatically with Traffic (Default)"

Auto Welcome Support
I tried that and have yet to get a notification (reply in the existing topic). I just tried a configuration that creates a new topic but get the following error: TypeError: array_pop(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, int given (0) #0 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/applications/autowelcome/modules/admin/settings/settings.php(158): array_pop() #1 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(118): IPS\autowelcome\modules\admin\settings\_settings->manage() #2 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/applications/autowelcome/modules/admin/settings/settings.php(30): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #3 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(153): IPS\autowelcome\modules\admin\settings\_settings->execute() #4 /home/xxxxxx/public_html/admin/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #5 {main}

Auto Welcome Support
Do you see the same behavior with the General tab in Settings that I described in my previous post?
-
Auto Welcome Support
The other thing I noticed is in the settings, if I have immediate checked, I don't see the other options. With it unchecked, I do. I tried the 1 hour setting, and also tried a manual task run with it set this way but nothing happens.
-
Auto Welcome Support
I'm using instant upon verification to add a reply to an existing topic, but it isn't working on two different sites. @iacas and @Edjazoli, what version of IPS are you using?
-
Auto Welcome Support
I tried to manually run it as well after another member joined and it didn't add anything to the existing topic that was configured. No errors in the task logs either, however it does show it ran.
-
Auto Welcome Support
Running 4.7.8, it seems the welcomeAlerts tasks is not running or recognizing when to run. Had a member sign up and validate 45 minutes before this screenshot was taken.

Method to manage less desirable topics
Ah that may indeed do it as well, thanks @Adriano Faria! @Adriano Faria, I think the one limitation there is it's at a whole group level vs a member level. So I'd have to add each member to their own group if I wanted to throttle the member level, right?

Method to manage less desirable topics
I have a site that is niche specific but has some non-niche related forums (such as Politics). Is there a method for throttling posts in a given forum or set of forums OR perhaps earning/applying a credit system to post in a forum/set of forums? The issue is that these members do post quality site content at times, however they post an unbalanced number of lesser quality/unrelated topics. You may ask why even have the unrelated content, but it creates conversation and engagement that leads to posting site niche related content that is valuable. One marketplace add-on I found that could effectively throttle a set of forums is @DawPi's

Embed HEIC Images?
So maybe it's newer but not the latest phones and this will slowly go away? Today's case was a Samsung phone but can't recall the model offhand.
