  1. Latest version working great, Mr Explosion! Love the report facily and the way to apply it to previous reported content.

    Could contain: Text

New 'Add to Site's Ban Settings' feature is a great timesaver. Icing on the cake for convenience sake would be after reporting to AbuseIPDB to automatically do this for you but the tool is certainly much quicker than copying and pasting the IP and email address yourself as in the past.

  2. The search facility here doesn't appear to find any results in your documentation, even when narrowing the search down to documents or guides.

    Example:

I'm currently playing with Zapier and using the option to post an image from an RSS feed in a Gallery album.

It results in an error message:

    The app returned "1G316/6".

    Could contain: Page, Text, File

    Searching produced 0 results:

    Could contain: Page, Text, File

So I thought I'd check out the out REST API docs and I found it in the error section:

    https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/rest-api?endpoint=gallery/images/POSTindex

    Could contain: Page, Text, File

  3. It seems not, the rules include options to do it...

Could contain: File, Computer, Electronics, Pc, Text, Page

but according to the documentation, the new WAF's Bot Fight managed rules can no longer be overridden by rules, only by defining a WAF Exception. However, when you go to do it, it is restricted to Pro account holders.

I tried making use of the rule setup in the screenshot but the connections are blocked. If I disable bot fight mode, it works.

Could you clarify what you mean by the credentials in the ACP?
There's nothing to do in your ACP except to "enable it" and to copy the URL and REST API Key into Zapier. Is this the step that failed?

    Hi @Daniel F

I had another go at this and the error I was getting before reoccurs connection failed with a 403 every time. Looking deeper it turned out to be Cloudflare’s WAF (free account) blocking it by issuing a Bot Fight mode managed challenge.

Could contain: Page, Text, Paper, Business Card

    Events Log:

Could contain: Text, Computer Hardware, Electronics, Hardware, Page

I set up a rule to allow the Zapier user-agent (not ideal) to skip which doesn’t seem to work although it it shows as working in the CF events log, but found I’ve had to switch off Bot Fight Mode in order to get it working.

  5. Yes, that’s what I was referring to Martin. 🙂

TBH I’ve posted about this before. We can create feeds from 3 different places in IPS (say a blog RSS feed enabled in a blog’s settings on the front end, a blog RSS feed via Activity Streams and a blog RSS feed from within AdminCP) and they give varying results, leading in turn to varying levels of interoperability depending upon our needs.

Some include images in a container, others don’t, but for my need today (quickly importing demo content into several localdev instances) I wondered if the supplied block of solid text was intended, an oversight or a bug.

  6. Hi,

Appreciate your thoughts. 24 years ago maybe, one could say the same about plain text email; specs and usage change. On the modern web with variations like media rss, a RSS 2.x feed without any HTML formatting is as much use as a handbrake on a canoe. The RSS feeds created on the front end Blogs have HTML, although they lack nodes for featured images.

    Are you using Nginx?

No, just Apache. Sorry to hijack your thread!

In my defence, I've slept since then! Yes, that would be the stage. I tried a few times, but couldn't get any further to set anything up. I'll give it another go.

I'm wondering now if it might have been Cloudflare blocking the connection.
