Has anyone noticed when on a tablet or laptop with touch screen and using your finger that the like button does not display the choices of the button? Sometimes a square appears with blue quote type icons. Sometimes a brief flash of maybe two of four option icons appear and then disappear? It also has a strange behaviour when using a mobile phone. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Thanks

Multiple member clicks when submitting a reply

Since upgrading to 4.5.4 I have had several instances of members clicking the submit reply button many times and the posts are posted, just had one that clicked it 10 times! I thought this was fixed long ago? What am I missing? Thanks

IPS 4.5.4: InnoDB tables are using Compact row format...

I have done the SELECT table_name, table_schema, ROW_FORMAT FROM information_schema.tables WHERE engine = 'InnoDB' AND TABLE_SCHEMA = '<YOUR DATABASE NAME>' AND ROW_FORMAT = 'COMPACT' And all 247 rows are "COMPACT" can anybody provide a SQL command to change all of them as I don't want to have to do every single row manually Also should the forum be taken offline when doing this? Also I have no ssh access Thanks -
No error messages and does nothing at all, not to worry because I will be upgrading today to 4.5.4

Just purchased today and installed on my test 4.5.4 install and no way to set anything? I click on the app in the ACP and like other apps there should be items opening below I assume to set and adjust but when clicking on the app it briefly says loading and nothing appears? Please advise

Does not work on 4.4.10 does work fine on 4.5.4 I installed it ok on my 4.5 test board and then installed it on my live 4.4.10 board so I could upgrade it when I upgrade that board to 4.5

Thank you Jim!! I failed to update the "Classifieds" app as that is the only app I had. I had already updated all the plugins but because the apps are separate from the plugins I overlooked that one!

I had already run the support tool "Something isn't working correctly", ran it again no change. Also nothing at all in the error logs, Thanks

I am trying to register a test user on my test install and am getting Error code: EX0 after upgrading from 4.4.10 to 4.5.4. All required fields including custom fields have been filled in correctly Anybody know why? Thanks

Brandon, I have just upgraded my test install to 4.5.4 and the above core > global > forms > text you gave me the template is no longer there in 4.5.4? Can you please tell me where I can find the template to insert the placeholder code in? Thanks again!

Thanks Brandon, some do and some never return so was hoping for some alternate way to accomplish this? Maybe a notice on the lost password page/popup with a contact admin button if their email has changed since registration? Thanks

I have been getting longtime members that have obviously lost their password or forgotten their username and try to login but can't and they can't reset their password because they no longer have the email address they registered with years ago. I of course get notification of the bounced emails when they try to reset their password. How do they reset their password or update their email address when this occurs? Is it even possible? IPB 4.4.10 Thanks

Thanks Morrigan, I have not chatted with you in a long time good to see you are still around! Your response reminded me to come and update this as I got busy today and forgot to. I found the problem was with the last version of the Classifieds app, installed the new version and the problem went away! And thanks to IPS "Marc Stridgen" for alerting me that it was a classifieds problem after I submitted a ticket.

I am getting this notification in the ACP and when I click on "run now" I get the following to remove the lock? How do I do that or why is it locked?

I have had this same issue many times over the years and have narrowed it down to the email address vs display name login. In every single case the member was logging in with their email address and when I informed them to login with their display name problem solved no more issues. I have instructed all my members to login with their display name, Yes, I have my login method set to "Display Name" in the ACP and if yours is the same that might be the problem.
