We need to have this editor switch done somehow because in 2.3.6 if you made a link with something like "Click Here" with the link hidden and tried to copy the message from the editor to re-post the message the link formatting is lost in the RTE editor so you have to switch to the std editor to save the formatting. Hope that makes sense :rolleyes: I use this method when I have a running message posted that I have to change the date and totals in all the time so I copy the entire message (ctrl C) and re-post just changing the date and total number. Just tried it in 3.0 and does the same, formatting of the link is lost

Upgrade from RC1 to RC2 went nice and smooth, no problems using upgrader :thumbsup:

I am getting 30-40 second page load times :(

Done that several times, still no joy :( Just came back from yesterday and same thing today, have to click once on a forum, the forum reloads and ends back in the same place until I click a second time and then everything will be fine as long as I am here, then when I leave and return later same thing all over again.

Why is it that when I come here since 3.0 that when I click on a sub forum ie: IP.Board and the forum blinks comes back to the same place and I have to click on the same sub forum again to get into the forum? It only happens when I first come to the forum and then is ok until I come back again? I am using FireFox 3.0.10 Thanks

That is the mod I have used for some time now on my 2.3.6 board and refered to in my original post, but would like the same thing for 3.0 - don't know if the author is still around and will update it to the new hook system?

Would it be possible to have an option to have a "drop down" box for the "yes" and "no" answers? So if you asked the question on the registration page "Are You Human" they would just use the small drop down that had the two answers "yes" or "no" with no being the default so it would not pass the registration on(so they have to answer yes). Makes more sense than having to have answers like sure, of course, why, what do you think, etc., plus the yes and no. I have used a mod like this on 2.3.6 and it sure helps stop the non-human spammers!

I just noticed a difference in my post/editor page after RC1 upgrade from 2.3.6 (test board) see pics. Do I need to re-upload something?

RC1 on the registration page when adding a "Question & Answer", the input box does not look like the rest of them on the page, the text is aligned too far to the left (not like the rest of the page). Should it not be placed above the Re-Captcha also and not at the very bottom of the page? See pic

Used the upgrader to upgrade from Beta 3 to Beta 4 with no problems :thumbsup:
