It loads right up for me 🙂

There was a link on your site that was giving me a 500 error when I clicked it
https://forums.jetnation.com/forum/5-ny-jets-forum/?_gl=1*jkvwsq*_ga*NjUyODE5MjA0LjE2OTU1MzgxMDA.*_ga_S5PKRH2XRR*MTY5NTUzODE5MS4xLjAuMTY5NTUzODI3NS42MC4wLjA.
However if I strip the URL to IPB’s actual address without the content after the query string, it works
https://forums.jetnation.com/forum/5-ny-jets-forum/
Also I’m seeing many posts from today, even in the last hour.
You might want to fix your links.

I could load this last night. But I cannot this morning
This link works for me. You seem to have a lot of members posting just fine.
I was also able to access your AdminCP's login screen.

I enabled recovery mode on the site and disabled all third party applications, plugins, and themes. Please make any modifications you need and slowly enable them again.

The theme in the ACP is different than the front-end so you should be able to access it. If you're still having issues after disabling Ezoic from your domain, let us know.
-
Max reacted to Jim M in Can't access AdminCP
Would recommend undoing any connection with Ezoic as it appears to be impacting the login of your community which is why you can't login to the ACP.
We actually do not recommend running Ezoic and cannot guarantee that any reverse proxies work on our Cloud.

In the next release of Invision Community (coming out in just a couple days) you will be able to add it. You can also do it on the beta release now if you’re feeling adventurous 🙂

Max got a reaction from Grafidea in v5 news coming soon...
So excited to see what is coming next for Invision. As far as a wishlist one thing for me is just a general thought, but SEO SEO SEO. Any SEO improvements that help our forum threads get indexed would be huge.
Otherwise, one thing I have always wanted are Notification filters. When I see that I have 20 notifications there are times that I don't need to check every Reaction notification. But I definitely want to see all @ notifications so I make sure I respond to them all.

It's hard to give dates, but we have a fairly aggressive timeline to meet and we're on track. I would say we should be in a position to showcase Invision Community 5 in some way during Q4 this year.
I hope this doesn't become a "coming weeks" moment for me. 😅

No major database updates so far. We don’t want to completely destabilise the entire platform. We have a fairly agressive timeline. We did consider foreign keys, etc but honestly the impact to end users is none and the risk of chasing issues for months is high.

I know absolutely nothing about development, but this has been a fun follow. Thanks for the continuous transparency and updates as things are being finalized.

We continue to offer major upgrades to active license holders. We do not require a purchase of a new license.
Better.

Amongst other things as it does now, yes. There are actually rumours that we will be plugging directly into Matts mind for some of the more advanced features, but I feel those rumours may be greatly exaggerated.
We will provide more information on how development will work within the v4 framework in due course, but there will be changes to how this works

Max reacted to Dll in A few questions after upgrading to cloud hosting
The reason is the guest caching, as covered earlier in this thread. As far as I'm aware, there's nothing youv can do, at least in terms of the way you're looking at it.
Re-framing it slightly though, maybe you could consider what you can do to encourage more of those guests to register? I'm not a fan of register walls and the like, so I'm not suggesting that sort of thing, but can you do something to make membership more compelling? Can you improve the messaging shown to guests so they're better aware of the benefits of joining?
All told, a member is far more valuable to you and your advertiser's than a guest, they're far more likely to revisit, can receive emails, notifications etc.
And for creating buzz, why not talk about the number of posts, new members joining, active members, trending topics and so on. I'd have thought those things are more likely to drive engagement than a simple 'look how many people are online' type thing anyway.

Max got a reaction from Markus Jung in A few questions after upgrading to cloud hosting
I know this is a vanity stat. Some of it is to generate buzz \ get in the heads of our competitors. Maybe once a year we would tweet: Wow 1,200 Jets fans in the forums right now talking about ______. It helped generate some buzz.
We have 100% fill rate with all of our display ads and that company has our GA, so it doesn't impact revenue there at all. The advertisement that it could impact is package deals, advertisers that gets sponsored social media posts, sponsored forum threads, that kind of thing. They don't get our traffic #s when they see 700 people in the forums, they are more likely to work with us.
So this isn't about it bothering me, it is just a thread trying to figure out what changed and if I could do anything about it.
Thanks.

Yes as I stated this is a vanity stat. But it is important advertisers check things like that.
It is an issue. Competitors look too, and it is nice to get in their heads a bit.

Yes, this is pretty bad for us. Looks like our forum is old and dying which isn't the case.
Now that's at 4am when everyone is sleeping but still, it looks bad.

Max got a reaction from Markus Jung in A few questions after upgrading to cloud hosting
That's the exact thought I have. I know the real numbers not worried about that at all.
Others, even competitors, check the who's online and it looks like we lost 70% of our traffic.

Max reacted to Olivia Clark in Invision Community Insight: What to expect for the summer
☀️ Welcome to this week's Invision Community Insight! ☀️
Thank you for checking out this weekly round up post. I hope you have had a lovely week and are looking forward to the weekend!
During the summer, we slow down a bit on releasing new things and the releases will come a bit later in the months. We use this time to step away and take those much needed breaks. Also, this year, we are working on Invision Community version 5. We look forward to sharing more about version 5 in the coming weeks and months. 🎉
This week's updates from the Invision Community team are below. 🙂
Current Happenings
Our June beta is being prepped for release next week. The June release will be available a bit later in the month.
New Privacy and PII Data features will be included in our June release.
On Deck
Statistics and Reporting will be included in a release this summer.
Finally, for those that like to see what we are up to line by line, here is the changelog for the week for version 4. Changes are limited for now as we focus attention on version 5. More information will be shared about version 5 at a future date.

Is there no way to show the real number of guests online? It could also be helpful/important to sell advertising etc.
-
Max reacted to Markus Jung in A few questions after upgrading to cloud hosting
Yes, I do have an analytics system in place. But still, the guest count is the first number that is seen publicly.
-
Max reacted to Dll in A few questions after upgrading to cloud hosting
We saw a very similar thing with guest numbers much lower, but had no negative comments and I've not seen any negative results in terms of posts, active members etc. I think it's probably very much a vanity metric and not something to be too concerned about.
