It would be nice that when one writes a post, to the side or below it loads in ajax the similar content based on the thread title, similar to what happens on Stackoverflow.
 
This feature would have made Sonya find a discussion similar to the one she was posting already at creation, and not just later through the side widget...

Is there any possibility to export translations for rules and badges? It seems, that exporting function only exports translations for Ranks. No translations for badges and the comments for the reason are exported. Is it possible to import translations into another community? I have tried to import Ranks and import function has replaced the ranks in English as well. What I need:
translate rules, ranks and badges export all translations import all translation in other community (without replacing English)

You can use it with any database. You have to include JS/Fxdocs Toc.js in the page that the database assigned to. In the record template of your database find: <section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages'>{$record->_content|raw}</section> and add an JS controller like this:
<section class="ipsType_richText ipsContained ipsType_normal" data-controller='core.front.core.lightboxedImages,fxdocs.images,fxdocs.toc'>{$record->_content|raw}</section> You have to use headings h2-h4 in order the TOC be displayed, e. g. with format plugin https://ckeditor.com/cke4/addon/format

It would be great if you could add a status-tag to euch of the feature suggestions, for example denied, under review, planned for Version X, done in Version X, already exists. 
This can help us to see that you take our suggestions seriously and if we can hope to see them in the software some day.

I have created a new block based of Feed from Articles with Default Template. 
Then I have added the block two times on the page. One in the vertical and another in the horizontal position.
As the result, both the blocks use horizontal view for display:

If I use only one block on the page, I see the correct view. But if the same block is placed into both the positions, they both start to use the same view (horizontal).
How to bypass it?

Charles, if we could have actions buttons in Pages that are connected to a piece of code (like PHP blocks) then it would solve countless things. Think of:
How often the button has been clicked Mark something as "finished" Add sub-record to database relationship field via modal window right in the parent record. Add to favorites Hidden download to prevent hot links and so on... I have created a number of hooks to solve those things. But they are not reusable, requiring the field key and database ID. And they cannot be edited by admin on the fly like PHP widgets.

Here's a few:
Rate courses. Tests / scoring. Enrollment (like joining a club). The possibility of accessing lesson 2 only after finishing lesson 1, like Udemy does. Embed videos (YouTube, Vimeo, etc). Top students (highest score). I consider a basic LMS a must in today's world. People need to share stuff. The pandemic ruined lots of face to face businesses, but e-learning courses increased massively.

You can't conclude that there are no developers. A lot of them communicate only via PM. And releasing paid jobs to the public is not mandatory. 😉 Give it a try. You can also contact the provider from the list https://invisioncommunity.com/third-party/providers/

Today adding new plugins to the CKEditor is a lottery: maybe it will work, maybe it will ruin the editor completely. No previews, no tests, no undo. If a plugin brake the editor, the only thing you can do is to reset it. And add all previous plugins manually again and arrange all the buttons again. Managing CKEditor plugins in Invision Community is a very implicit process. 
I think Plugin manager for CKEditor will help many Invision Community customers who are not limited to standard CKEditor capabilities.

There isnt, as there are multiple categories in a very custom pages database there. So there isnt really a single follow button for new items. As far as updates, that would be edits. There is no function to follow edits anywhere on the platform
It is worth noting, most will be edits anyway. Its only when there is a new item entirely that a new guide would be added, generally. (There are exceptions of course)

Is there a way to display the last update date for the topics in searches? I can only see the date creation in searches, not the last update. Whenever I search, I would love to see if the topic was updated not too long ago, right now, only the creation date is displayed. Is there a way to display the last update?

Hi,
Today I found out that writing a new PM or replying to one also triggers the "comment/reply is posted" rule.
I don't want to reward members for PMs in the background. I just want to reward them for posting topics and replies.
How can I exclude PMs from this rule? No PN option is being shown when using the location filter.

There is a workaround, if you would like to edit display record template. Add this on top of the template:
{{\IPS\Output::i()->metaTags['description'] = $record->customFieldDisplayByKey('YOUR_CUSTOM_FIELD', 'listing');}} {{\IPS\Output::i()->metaTags['og:description'] = $record->customFieldDisplayByKey('YOUR_CUSTOM_FIELD', 'listing');}} This would overwrite the default description meta tag with the value of your custom summary field.
