I want to try once again to see if it's possible to use pages to accomplish something without spending inordinate amounts of time learning CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to accomplish what sounds "easy".  This page makes it sound easy.

I have advertisers.  I want to create a page for them.  There are only a few criteria I'd like to build the page.

• List advertiser on left
• Have a block on the right that has info about their company
• Allow specific users to edit their record

That's about it.  This sounds like it should be easy.

Any tips on how to accomplish this?

Is there something custom on your FDA Blood Guidances page? How did you do that? It is all in the stock page blocks I will figure it out.

Hi,

No, nothing custom.  Yes, you need to manually add the thumbnail.  It looks a lot worse without it.

Ugh, it seems that validation emails are being sent, and bounced.

So, back to the original question.

Is there a way to create a new group that does not receive any email communication?  Or any other easy way to remove communication?

In the ACP years ago, it was tabbed and you could easily pick and choose the communications and save once.  Now it's a lot of scrolling to the bottom, clicking, saving, and repeating for each user.

How can I change the message displayed here?

I have a Pages page with an embedded helpdesk form.  I use that for the Contact Us page.

If a member is validating their email address and clicks the Contact Us link, they are forced back to the validate your email page.

Is that expected behavior?

When I get a bounced email back from a member, I have to do a lot of clicking to uncheck all the email notifications they receive.

Is it possible to create a new group, move them to that group, and have them receive no notifications?

Did you find the Statistics section in the ACP?

@Daniel F solved this.

He determined I needed to turn off STRICT_TRANS_TABLES in MySQL.  Once I did, I was able to create the block.

OK, I did that, it has a new password now.

I logged in as that user, in an incognito Chrome browser, with all data cleared, and all extensions turned off, and still have the same issue.

Good idea, I just tried that.

Well, I was hopeful for a second.  🙂

I created a new item and was able to drag it to it's correct spot.  I then published and all was well.

I opened that item, saved it, and it's greyed out again.

OK, I did that in Chrome, went back to Men Manager and FAQ is missing in the ACP, but present on the site.  I had previously made a simple edit to it, clicked Save, but didn't publish it.

It seems to be worse now.

It seems to be a quirk on my end somehow if you cannot reproduce it.  Thanks for trying.

I have tons.

I just tried in Chrome (video was Edge).  I turned off all browser extensions.

I still have the same behavior.

I just tried, it behaved the same.

I have created a simple FAQ database.  The pages seem to be working fine.

I tried creating a simple custom block using this database but get an error.
