  1. You definiately get better revenue from Ezoic over Adsense as you have access to Google's premium inventory. There's a couple of downsides 1. You have to pay in advance for use of their platform by credit card, rather than them take it from your earnings which are paid by PayPal. 2. There's various levels of paid plans, the more you pay the more you make. But there's no automatic scaling of plan. It'd be better if it automatically scaled based on volume and ad inventory and just charged you from your payout.

If these two issues were combined in one solution it would be an incredible product. I'd still recommend it though.

  2. I'm just in the process of implementing iubenda's consent management platform, and there's no way that most software providers could integrate the same technology in to their existing products. The needs, options and flexbility of implementing these differently depending on rapidly changing laws/regulations and users locations make this a massive challenge for companies which actually specialise in this.

What I would like to see from IPB though is integration with third party CMPs, most CMPs these days abide by the same standard https://iabeurope.eu/tcf-2-0/ which makes integration straight forward. IPB would just need to allow it's existing consent to take call backs from the CMP.

Another question I do have is what cookies are strictly fuctional from IPB and what are experience enhancing. IPB have stated that all their cookies are able to be exempted under functional cookies, but from what I've read many may not be. For example a cookie which sets what has been read. This isn't a strictly necessary cookie, as you don't need this cookie to operate the board.

I'd like to see a page in the admin dashboard which shows all cookies that IPB or third party plugins set and list the useage purpose e.g. Strictly necessary, basic interactions & functionality, experience-enhancement measurement.

Ok - but when does it NOT work. You say "it works only" but if you need assistance with something then you need to tell us what you are doing, and what you want to happen? Otherwise, it's guess-work on our part.

I think the general consensus of dissapointment is that WebP support in IPB is limited to file uploads. It doesn't automatically serve reprocessed WebP images to supportive browsers. Which is what would have been expected.

  4. I have issues with PHP8 I've not been able to resolve.

I've tried disabling all my applications and plugins and I still get the below error:

This page isn’t working domain.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

My error logs are are set at Level 3, but don't show any errors

I wouldn’t be so eager to convert everything. First of all, there are still users who cannot see WebP images at all and switching over to WebP without keeping all previous images as fall-back would mean they don’t see any images at all.

Second, the format itself doesn’t guarantee better images, especially if the WebP version is generated from an already compressed or optimized source image.

True, but it's highly likely that those users are making up less than 1% of my traffic.

I wasn't looking to use WebP to give better images, I want to use WebP as from my other sites I've seen it reduce image size on average by about 30% with no trade off on image quality. This made a noticable improvement to page speed and also reduced my bandwidth.

I was hoping, well assumed, that the IPB implementation would support the actual serving and processing of the images just like many Wordpress plugins do. It shoudln't be reliant on a user to upload a WebP image, as who the hell would do that. There's free Wordpress extensions which dyamically process and serve WebP images only to browsers which support the format. I'm puzzled why this type of support isn't included in a paid platform.

Time delay or immediate welcome alert? Social media signups or normal signup? What is the exact version you went back to?

I'd suggest emptying the "autowelcome_members" database and then running the upgrade again.

    Great thanks that fixed it

I just upgraded to 4.5 today, from 4.4.10, and believe I had to find the match manually. Once I did that it worked perfect.

Hi @Chris027 I wasn't able to get mine to match, I can go through the process of matching I don't get any errors, but it just shows as below, and I can't upgrade it.

    Any ideas?

First you need to match the old Classifieds in the ACP

HI, I've done that, I wasn't actually sure if had worked as it didn't actually show a screenshot of the match unlike my other apps. Should it show something more than this?

    **EDIT**

I've just realised it's not matching, as on the main application ACP screen it doesn't show the Marketplace icon.

    Forum version?

Classifieds use PayPal transactions, all payments are sent to you and then you have to turn them over to the advertisers.

Hi, 4.5.2, and trying to install from the marketplace within ACP. Thanks

  10. Hi @InvisionHQ, I'm trying to install the new version (v2.2.0 Beta 2  from 1.3.5) but get the follow error:

    Quote

An application is already installed that uses the same Application Key, this application cannot be installed unless the other is removed

Classifieds is currently disabled, do I need to completely remove the old version?

    Cheers
