Posted January 29, 20159 yr When I try to upgrade from beta 5 to beta 6 it hangs on Preparing your update... Any suggestions? Is there a way to get this any other way?
January 29, 20159 yr Author Yes, however this will be a full blown "from-scratch" installation. I would like to somehow get the customized one that the control panel produces.
February 17, 20159 yr Author Bumping for an update - Is it possible for me to source this update to 8? Still cannot use the ACP to do so. I would prefer not to have to start over.
February 17, 20159 yr Why not download it from the client area, then ftp all the files up to server replacing the beta 5 files with all the beta 8 files and then run the updater retaining the config.php file from beta 5.Update url is located at www.domain.com/admin/upgrade
February 22, 20159 yr I would like to be able to keep all the custom themes and suchI'll tell you that some of the themes made in B5 have issues. I have to rebuild all of my early themes.
February 22, 20159 yr I would like to be able to keep all the custom themes and suchAnything prior to IPS 4.0 as in skin themes, applications, mods and such are of no use nor will work with IPS 4.0***ADDED***Mis read that you already are using IPS 4.0....Beta 8 might work... RC-2 is out now but there are a ton of css changes that were made in the RC versions so you will have issues with your custom skins until these changes are fixed...
