WTH. >_< Don't worry. Like I said, in the forum world, time is skewed. When it's released they'll all be like, "It hasn't been an hour yet!" even if it's really be 3 months. [quote name='Kotonoha' date='22 June 2009 - 10:26 PM' timestamp='1245723966' post='1812748'] Tell them that it's bfarber's fault. :P Nah, blame it on Matt.
iCER7 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 where will the 3.0 release download be found? There an upgrade section in the IPB Admin section we can click to upgrade or do we have to download a .tar.gz and reset up everything then export current databases and reimport it..... there a doco on 'how to' from 2.3 to 3.0? Where at?
Brett B Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Assuming you have an active license, there will be an upgrade package for you to download in your client area.

Basically, you'll overwrite/dump in the new files and run the upgrade script.

You should all go on vacation and release the final product when you return. Although, I'm assuming that you're waiting for the Windows 7 RTM :P , as IPB 3.0 is highly anticipated, just like Windows 7 release. :) So.....

Rheddy Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 if the release comes out then, December 2012, then I suspect that IPS will go out of business ... because nobody in their right mind would renew their licenses :(
