I want to try once again to see if it's possible to use pages to accomplish something without spending inordinate amounts of time learning CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to accomplish what sounds "easy". This page makes it sound easy. I have advertisers. I want to create a page for them. There are only a few criteria I'd like to build the page. List advertiser on left Have a block on the right that has info about their company Allow specific users to edit their record That's about it. This sounds like it should be easy. Any tips on how to accomplish this?

Hello, as in my previous post I have recently had my old Vbulletin 4 Forum converted to Invision Community. Things have been mostly fine I do however have an issue with my calender events. The converted events are a day behind. For example below The Thursday Events should be on Friday. and the Friday Event should be on Saturday. Our Imported events calender goes back to 2007 and the dates all seem to be suffering from the same issue. What can I do to remedy this other than change the events manually? Thank you.

Hello, I had my dev convert our Vbulletin 4 forum to Invision Community on the 1st of January. For the most part things seem to be fine baring a few items I will be posting about in the future. One such issue is that any image that we linked to the forum no longer displays. On the old forum the image would load. The only way to fix this other than going in manually? I set the option in admin CP to allow http: links as well. Thanks

I updated the self hosted version to the latest current version. Afterwards I cannot login to Admin CP with any administrators. We get the error, "You do not have permission to access the Admin CP." We are all still able to login on the frontend and access the Moderator CP. I'm not seeing any errors in the hosting account error log so I'm assuming that something in the database migrations that a flag for Admin access was not carried over. Can someone tell me how to tell if a user has admin permission in the database tables so I can confirm if something is missing on the users?

I'm getting the error on the 'login' part of the upgrade process I'm not sure this is a 'host' issue as much as it is an issue with the code... I can fix the issue if someone will tell me what the error actually means.

I’m investigation a delivery issue and noticed that outgoing system mails have a return path set to info@mydomain.com, even though I have ‘no-reply emails’ set up in the email settings: Where is that info address coming from? I tested two different communities and both show this behaviour.

I am in the process of moving to a new server, and upon trying to update to the newest version available the error below is displayed and prevents me from updating. Any thoughts as to the cause or configuration error in PHP that is throwing this error? We were unable to start a PHP session. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue. Hello, I've been getting the following error for hours when trying to use my recently renewed license key. I'm in the process of upgrading from IPB 3.4.8 to 4.1.8.1 (using the latter as a bridge to the current version). I upgraded successfully several hours ago, but had to roll back for an unrelated mistake I made. My other expired board / license is having the same issue. Is the server down, or was my account flagged for repeated license changes? PHP Version 5.6.40 cURL enabled 7.29.0

Good morning, I would like to moderate all posts from a User Group, and every new post would require the administrator's approval before they are displayed. I have been unable to find this option in the User Group. I am a bit lost. Could anyone tell me how can I ENABLE the automatic moderation of ALL the new comments from a specific user group? When trying to upgrade from 4.7.0 to 4.7.14 (yes, in one step), the upgrade fails after the file extraction step and displays a blank page when trying to load the "admin/?app=core&module=system&controller=upgrade&check=1" URL. The database and site are still in existence and the admin dashboard still works; but there is a lock applied somewhere which results in the front end displaying an error of "We're sorry, this web site is unavailable while an update is in progress. So my members including myself are having logging-in errors, logging out works fine however logging in fails and yet I have no errors or logs stating that. So, I log myself out Then I log myself in again, click a page and see that I have not been logged in but says I need to log in.. The only way to get myself back in is to clear Cloudflare or from ACP the cache MAybe needs a update @aXenDev https://www.baysidegamers.com/

I'm getting a 500 Internal server error. We've been running it on a subfolder of our website. (https://mypbtinstitute.com/community) MyPBTInstitute.com is hosted on WPEngine.com. We've been running it there for nearly 4 years. The community has run fantastically up until this morning. Now we're getting the 500 Internal server error. The rest of our website works fine. It's a WordPress site. We're using the last version that can run on php 7.4. I've tried multiple times to update to newer and obviously update to php 8, but I've been unsuccessful. Now this happened. A moderator and I have been battling a weird image upload issue. I even set him to Administrator so we would be the same for comparison of our accounts. If we each upload the same image to a post, my image seems perfect, his seems to loose its vibrance. We have tried with multiple images same output. Anyone have any idea? I'll update with some more details. Ive switched between GD and ImageMagick same result. We limit upload to 1200, the image is exported correctly not to hit the compression of the System so it should just upload as is.

I know don't laugh LOL. How can I easily identify my DB please as I only appear to have two. My main WordPress one and a staging copy. I am thinking I may have inadvertently installed invision in the Wordpress DB. How can I check where Invision is posting to as it is all working fine but yeah if I want to backup or migrate I need to know the DB its using. Cheers

On this url: /admin/?app=core&module=members&controller=members I got 502 Bad Gateway error, other URLs work fine. Also tried to update Invision and got the same error on one of the upgrade pages.
