I have a user with two accounts with the same email address that when I merge to one contact, both users still exist. second issue, is if he uses an email that he used in the past it says account exist with this email although we can't find an account that exist with that old email. It's like this user's profile and email are stuck even his old email address. I have cleared Cache P.s. when we changed the email on one user, it also changed it to that email on the second user. Any thoughts?

Normally we see the "Mark Forum As Read" at the top of the forum. My question is when you have a combined fluid view subform. Is that feature gone? or am I missing something and there is a option to show that or not per forum. thanks

Hey there, is there any way to mass delete Pending Invoices? Due to a system bug when trying to switch people from one sub to another with upgrade option sent to them in the commerce section, it generated nearly 62k Invoices withing a few minutes and spammed further without me being able to stop it except moving them one by one out of their current subscription plan... So is there a way to delete those 62k useless invoices? Kind regards!

Hi, I'm having problems with backgrounds tasks not completing, and there are some >250 of them waiting to complete the last week. I need to change the URL of my test install, but get the message: "There seems to still be an installation of Invision Community at the URL on file. Before you can change the URL, you must first remove the existing installation." There's no installation at the test install url. Obviously, there is one at the actual url, but that's not what I'm trying to change. How do I change the test url?

Hi. I have a problem with email messages. When you try to register, you receive the error "You do not have permission to register" despite registration being enabled. If someone manages to complete the registration process, no email arrives for verification. I had two IPB sites on a shared account host primary domain was running latest IPB with php 8.2. Second account older IPB which runs under 7.3 php both working fine. I had the host remove the one domain and make the older domain running php 7.3 the primary. Once that was completed the site was trying to load from the original domain that was in the public_html folder. So I copied all the files and subdirectories under the public_html folder edited the conf_global.php to reflect the changes and site still does not load but the error log shows below. Every time we log out, we see this error. Its the same in the slightly modified template and in stock (blue color template). So it seems like a system issue, we are facing. Can anyone please advise how to fix it.

Can someone help me find the url that an Invision Community 4 upgrade license check hits to verify the license key? From multiple servers over multiple days and multiple copies of the 4.7.15 software, I always get "There was an error communicating with the IPS License Server. Please try again later or contact IPS technical support for assistance." I'd like to troubleshoot whether this url is being blocked by my infrastructure. Thanks for any pointers you can give me.

Appreciate it if someone can help display the paid club activities (topics, sidebar, events and calendar) to members as well. Guests can view all, but members can't. Some permission settings we must have changed in the past, and wish to revert to the default members setting now. Its the same in the slightly modified template and in stock (blue color template). So it seems like a permission issue, we are facing. This is already on, what else we are missing, please help.

Hello everyone, I installed a version of IPB locally with XAMPP as I wanted to have a development environment. However, I'm having a language issue. Indeed, XAMPP is well configured for English and French, but when I try to choose French (or English US) as the locale language, it is not listed in the IPB's settings (note that there are only strange languages listed that I haven't even configured in my XAMPP conf file): I also get an error saying that my locale code "fr_FR" is not supported : Can you please help me?

Hello, I believe that this is a more serious consequence of removing the 'Submit Details' button in 4.7.15. My previous topic about the 'Submit Details' button was because one of our plugins was triggering off the click on the button. Fair enough - that one is our problem and we have to find something else to trigger off. This is a different and more serious issue. We have a number of custom applications and plugins so I disabled all of them on the test system and re-tested. I send email through Amazon SES via SMTP settings in IPS. All my emails (about 1,200 a day) are delivered without issues. But sometimes (3 to 4 times a day), I see these errors in email error logs: All the topics listed here have 70 followers or more. I have never seen this error on topics with quite a few followers. What can be a reason for this error? IPS issue? Server issue with SMTP? Amazon SES issue? I have consulted @stoo2000 and he has been looking into this over the last few days. Yesterday I installed test install version of the community on one of my servers and while the installation gone fine and I can do all admin tasks without any problem, I have some weird issues on the user side: - cannot register because of the error attached - after I created account as admin I can post as this user without problem - I cannot post as guest becouse of the same error MySQL server is the same as the main production and it works fine so it's not the database server issue. Any ideas what could be wrong?

I know, it is weird 👻 As I have mentioned in this topic, our default photo has been reset to the previous one after update from 4.5 to 4.7. I had to upload the photo again into theme resources. Some days later, the default photo has been reset again to the previous one. Not the default photo, but the one we have used before the update. I have thought, well, 👻 and uploaded it again. For some unknown reason my forum can't update anymore. After step 1 'confirm update' , the screen stays white and I can't reach step 2, 'log in'. Just a white screen with a header. I tried all different browsers, none of them seems to be working. We have serious safety-issues by now. How can I update the forum??

I have Wordpress SSO and the IPBoard forum integrated into my Wordpress site. Just recently trying to access The forum produces as error I’m getting the error below. This happened suddenly a week or so ago. No updates of changes were made at all. My forums have started throwing an error 200 when trying to upload images using either the "choose files..." link or dragging and dropping. I've attempted to upload a couple of JPGs that are 500Kb or less. Server Specs: Invision Community 4.7.10 PHP 8.1.18 file_uploads = On upload_max_filesize = 20M max_file_uploads = 20 max_execution_time = 30 max_input_time = 60 memory_limit = 512M I'm not seeing any errors in /var/log/php8.1-fpm.log. No errors in my Admin CP error logs or on the support page in the Admin CP. Other suggestions to troubleshoot?

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or the behaviour has changed with the way ban by IP address works. I have banned members by IP address, but they are still able to view the site. It's only when they sign in that they get a banned message. When you ban a member by IP address, are they not blocked from viewing the forum, even as a guest?

I have my forum set to open pages on desktop for the main page when you visit the website for the first time.. And I tried to set forums to open on mobile as the main page when you visit the website for the first time. But it keeps on opening pages on mobile when you load the website. Please help.
