Where in the admin panel on beta 2.2 can I change the attachment size limit. The default is only 10mb per post...I would like to increase that to 25mb but I can not see where and I looked over the ACP countless times?? :unsure:

Hi there, Well, finally I'm about to buy IBF, because of recent hacker attacks on your last free version which was in fact 2.0. I have been interested in what updates and new features are to come with the new versions. I'm pretty sure that IBF is the best one to buy even for a private user with only some members to use his forum. Neverthelesse there's one thing I do not like about the current version running in here. I like IBF because it's very simple to use as member. You just find anything you want very fast. I would first like to say that I really like IPB. To me, it is the best board out there for what I need and want. I love the community behind the product as well. I'm sure this is similar for other board software. As 2.2 is nearing, I see a board that I am going to enjoy using. I feel that for my site, the features that are included will be well received. I'm obviously going to have to do some waiting for mods to be converted, but that is fine. As this project (IPB 2.2) is nearing release, I am curious to see how the developers and those that have worked on the project through various stages feel. No I am not doing this in my bathroom but I got these ideas in the bathroom. This should be added to Invision - check it out See how the signatures are auto hidden, if you want to see it you can click it and it'll then open. Makes viewing topics much more easier if some users have a massive signature - which happens in Invision - due to their being not enough options to set image sizes or font sizes :rolleyes:

I'd like to suggest adding an option to switch to an alternate format for url tags to show the destination domain. E.g. instead of Click Here! you'd get Click Here! [forums.invisonpower.com]. Lots of people blindly click on links without realizing where they lead, so showing the destination domain would improve awareness. A number of web portals have switched to using this style of links and I think it would be nice to have it as an option in IPB. Edit: Wth.. aren't line breaks working with this version? :(

why has this feature been overlooked? I'd like to see the signatures be set ona per group basis. max char for sig allow img tag for sig allow bbcode for sig allow url tag for sig etc also, maybe allow admin to set remote avatars on a group basis as well. this will save us bandwidth and storage space.

On my test forum, I have no idea how to change the autoresizing size in signatures. My signature, which is 550x150 is automatically resized. Similarly, how to I set the size at which images in posts are resized? Is this an option, or does IPB just use an arbitrary amount that cannot be changed?

At the current time, when you don't allow a member to change their email address, it delete's their account entirely. Can you change this so if you deny the email cahnge, their old email stays in use?

Would it be possible to add a delete time limit similar to the edit one? I don't want members deleting their old posts that are relevant to the conversation, but a two to five minute timer would allow them to delete posts that they posted and then thought better of.

I would like to see a permissions setting for the AV galleries for each member group, this is so a size can be fixed for each group, without using the upload feature. And also the ability to catagorise the AV galleries further in order to cut down on the overall list.

There's a particularly good article on ease of use, and how it can go wrong.
