How does one set the autoresize size for signatures?

On my test forum, I have no idea how to change the autoresizing size in signatures. My signature, which is 550x150 is automatically resized. Similarly, how to I set the size at which images in posts are resized? Is this an option, or does IPB just use an arbitrary amount that cannot be changed?

I would also like to know about the signitures only shown once per topic I read about in the feature description for 2.2. I can't find this anywhere in the ACP.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I think the point in the feature's list meant that they're INTERNALLY parsed only once ^o).

10. Member signatures only parsed once per page load in a topic now

That is correct. In previous the previous version custom bbcode was processed more than once on the same signature. The change caches the signature using the member ID so it isn't processed twice, but still prints it normally. Definitely was an internal change :)

That made absolutely no sense.

wow someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning is it just me your biting the head off of or is it everyone? Look its a simle answer to a simple question. Asking

and do answer your question there isn't a setting to set sig limit resize. its all based on how you allow uploaded images to be posted in thumbnail size

No, I dislike posts that make no sense. I believe your response was "from the looks of it the sig image resize is based on the image tags. altho it would be a good idea to see it put into IPB"

Analyzing this specifically, "from the looks of it the sig image resize is based on the image tags" - well, that would be obvious, there is only one way to insert an image in a page. I can't quite tell what your statement was meant to MEAN.

"altho it would be a good idea to see it put into IPB" - see what put into IPB? Resizing? No, that's clearly there - annoying though it may be.

Context is king, and you applied none.

I said :from the looks of his sig here that its based off the thumbnail image size." Then I stated " It would be a good feature to have a sig limit structure on IPB" But according to you in one of my other posts "We don't need Pointless Settings" So end of discussions thanks for the sub par intelligent discussion

I am having a hard time understanding your post sometimes...

Would it be possible to divorce this setting from the thumbnail size? I don't want a huge thumbnail size, and I also don't want every image larger than 400px to be resized. It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense for two totally different features to be linked like this. I REALLY hope that we're able to set these differently in the final version :(.

EDIT: Um, by the thumbnail, I assume you mean the image upload thumbnail. Images that are larger than the size you have set for uploaded thumbnails are automatically resized. Is that correct?

So it just effects database load and not actually limiting posters to one siigniture per person in topic?

I guess I'll have to reinstall the mod for this purpose after 2.2 comes out.
