Couple of thoughts

No I am not doing this in my bathroom but I got these ideas in the bathroom. I have to go to bed so I cant' really explain in detail:

  1. Admin can change ACP INTRO page
  2. Admin can change what ACP shows is the version (IPB Version v2.2.0 Public Beta 1 (ID: 1))
  3. Admin can change board version # in ACP.
I think I had more but my parents get 'cranckey' and angry when I don't go to bed by '11:20" PM or so when school is the next day. BAH!

Hide the version #. I'm suggesting a way to 'change' it to show something like like 2.1.6, same for ACP. The ACP intro page also tells what version of the board you use. 2.1.0 (I think) gave it a new page intro, as did 2.2.

What possible reason would you get from changing the version in the Admin section?

Isn't it important for the ACP to display the correct versioning? I would assume it would affect whether or not the software update prompt appears or not.

All right, why you need to change the string # (number) of your board? It will attract hackers more
