   Just an idea but would be cool to see this either in IPB3 or ifnot, I will try and make a mod myself. But have you guys considered using the Porter Stemmer algorithm (see: http://tartarus.org/~martin/PorterStemmer/, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stemming) Currently adding this to one of my custom sites and since I've heard some people complain about IPBs search function, I thought I should mention this.

   Suggestion for Topic Downloads - PDF Export

   Hi, I know the current IPB3.0 is feature locked and is looking great, but here's an idea that many may find useful for the age old Topic Download options. The current options are Printer Friendly, Download HTML version and Download Microsoft Word version. What about adding a PDF export option to the list of views/downloads? To save bots etc triggering the export pdf option every millisecond, you could have it appear for logged in members only in the Download Topic options, to save server resources.

   I was visiting some minutes ago a SMF forum and I noticed a nice thing that could be useful for a lot of peoples. Nested quotes have a different background to make more visible the different quotes.    Quick Access looks uglier

   I noticed that the Quick Access button looks "ugly" in the latest version of IPB. The "rectangle" for the "Insert XXX" is longer than the Quick Access box (in grey color). Is it a bug? I have tried on different browsers (IE, FF, Safari, Google Chrome) all the same.

   hi folks, just got an email today that my licence expires 10th of december - I wanted to renew but didn't find HOW. The only thing I find is with credit card - and do not have one. I payed by paypal last time. Meaningwhile I have a new paypal account (the old one was of my husbands) and I don't see a possibility to renew - just buying completely new. Please could you give me a hint where to go?? thanx flash

   I would love to see a possible newsletter application built into the version 3.x of IPB. It would be able to use the resources already within the system - such as the RTF Editor. I know that the bulk mail system is there, but having an easy to use newsletter app would be great for business, specials, sales, etc... Mark

   I don't know if this has been brung up before, but i would like to see an ability to revoke usergroups rights to reply to other users topics in certain forums, but they should be able to start topics. Kinda like the Reply box in Forum Access Permissions, except that this also revokes the ability to reply to own topics...

   It would be great if we could determine how many emails to send in an hour. There are many hosts that limits the outgoing emails, and for example if the hosts has a limit of 300 email/day and you have 500 users and want to send them an email it is a big problem. Unfortunately many hosts do this that's why this feature would be useful. I think mybb has something similar. It also comes handy if you have a lot of users.

    Is IPB planing on adding the feature that moderators can only softdelete topics and Administrators harddelete topics? This is very important to us since we have had Moderators before who went insane by deleting topics they weren't supposed to delete. Thanks for answering.

    I had a little idea about the BBCode in IP.Board 3.0 and here I come: The tag : "wikipedia" usage: [name=word]. when you parsing out the tag, the bbcode will generate the correct link to your own "word" (You have to set up before - at the BBCODE System). If you would create a new BBCODE (for e.g.: you type: Invision Power Services & we will show: Invision Power Services) On the BBCODE we will enter: <a href='http://invisionpower.com' style='font-weight:bold;text-decoration: underline'>Invision Power Services</a>

    I saw 3.0 board version. No rating on profile, no stars there? well, I am a starbringer and I am your customer. Maybe you do not care but I do: DO NOT turn off my stars on profiles. I wish to upgrade my board as anyone else! But my board is a board with stars! is the board of a starbringer! I choose to be this company customer because you have stars! All my accounts all over boards are almost all of them only on IPB boards with stars. >_< do not do this to me! You are payed for support! then you must be sure you can upgrade my board too.     Hello, I was wondering if this was a possible addition to IPB. There is a site called Mollom.com and it provides a way for you to track and stop spam. I was thinking this would be a good idea for IPB to implement or allow forum owners to be able to add Mollom to their sites. It supports drupal, wordpress and other systems that have comments/posts. This might be a good way to spot spammy posts on active forums and allow mods to delete them.     We do not use post icons, nor plan to be using them. I would be really nice to be able to disable them from the admin panel. Going a custom skinning for that is just hell. Best regards, Joann

    ...and I've just not found it somewhere, but is there any time line on when we will be able to start downloading version 3? I know I have read somewhere that this release was planned for Gold sometime in the 4th quarter...is this still an accurate time line or am I mistaken altogether? Thanks in advance!
