Never likely to personally use it, but for including it for those that want it.

How difficult would it be to just auto-use the email in the profile and then have a field to change it if desired?

The convenience of the Gravatar service is being able to register on a multitude of sites and have my gravatar be automatically recognized and used. If I have to input an email address, well that's just like uploading an avatar. It's an extra step. Know what I mean?

It shouldn't be that hard, just set the default gravatar email as the one the member registered with, and if he wants he could change that. Something simple enough.
