Also, if it's possible to still use those plugins I mentioned above... can someone please help me understand how to shows ads based on defined locations. Specifically, where in the theme can I display an ad after every 10 posts in a thread or every 10 topics in a forum. It would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there - a while back I purchased (NB40) Ads After X Posts and (NB40) Ads After X Topics. Are these plugins outdated? Do I need to buy this one instead and disable the others? @newbie LAC

I was approved by google for an Ad X account, however everything else you said is a little unclear for me. I’m not sure what to do 😩 Are the rules relatively easy to setup? I’d love to be more knowledgeable with all of this because I feel there is money left on the table. Also thanks for the reply! @GTServices

Monumetric handles all that, though I'm not super impressed with the revenue figures recently. They have a frequency cap - meaning if someone comes back a lot throughout the day they aren't shown ads. That seems very weird to me. Yes, Monumetric and Bands In Town are taking a cut. I have a ton of people in my ads.txt file. It's just piled over the years. I would love to have more control over my ads. I also feel like I should be making far more than what I am based off the traffic? @Fast Lane!

I believe the prebidder is run through my ad company Monumetric. There’s a line of code I had to add to my theme’s header that calls for their script. I’ll check out that option! what did you mean by this? “Also set the ad not to show (see my above note).”

Last month we had 1.2 million page views. From my experience, Adsense does not pay as well as the ad networks I’m currently working with. I am using Monumetric. There’s header bidding I believe. Regarding the footer ad, if utilized, won’t two ads potentially appear because the sidebar ad on mobile appears at the bottom? A sticky ad on the sidebar on desktop... is that possible in IPB? Monimetric does not use passback. I feel my ad setup isn’t configured properly and am leaving money on the table, however I am not entirely sure what to do. Thank you @Fast Lane! for responding!

Hello! I have a quick question about the daily digest emails. I get a daily one from Invision, and they're great. I am having trouble understanding how to do the same for my own forum. I am following content and have asked to receive a daily email, yet I have yet to get one. Attached is settings for a particular forum. I have followed it for more than 24 hours, so in theory I should receive an email with new content, right? We are using Sendgrid to send emails. We also have a from address set. Wondering if I could get a little help pinpointing the issue as to why. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there. I am wondering... what do you guys think is the best form of advertising on a forum? Right now I have: Programmatic advertising with banner ads. They are responsive ads - so they show different banners depending whether you're on mobile or desktop. I have one ad display below the header, one ad in the side bar, and one ad after the first post in a forum/topic. I also have 'takeover' ads in effect - sometimes the entire page looks like an ad. Video advertising with Teads tends to not be very effective. They say their ads don't perform well on sites that are UGC. Often times, I don't even see ads display on my site because of, so I'm told, a frequency cap. Ads will stop displaying to certain people who frequent the forums a lot throughout the day. It seems weird that I'm being 'punished' for users returning and generating engagement / page views. Does anyone have any recommendations for ad companies? What is the best kind of advertising for forums? What do you guys do / who do you use? Any insight / tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there. Love this! But wondering... is there a better way to stylize the tags so they don't reformat how the topic titles look in forums? It looks great on mobile, but on desktop it's not as clean looking. The titles get kinda crammed into a tall tower. 😊 https://www.breatheheavy.com/exhale/
