  1. You should have a separate test install to limit the developers to a separate copy of your production environment.
  2. All user input should be validated server side as a matter of design. This is not a good thing at all.
  3. Hmm. In retrospect, it may have been "banned" members then that were not necessarily flagged as spammers (having registered prior to our migration to Invision, yet discovered after the fact).
  4. I'm struggling with a navigational issue involving the IPS help guides here that has irked me enough to make this request. There is no way to navigate to the "next" content page when browsing the guides. Would you please consider adding "previous" and "next" links within the guides, and maybe for bonus points, jumps to the last and next sections of the guide as well. For example: While in the Pages section, I might be looking at Core Concepts and be reading along each entry. To go to the next one, I need to scroll all over the page to find the menu on the left, figure out where I am, and then figure out what the next page is instead of a nice "Go to Databases part I" link at the bottom of the Blocks page. Please, for my own sanity. 🙃
  5. The same happens for profile fields on the user's profile. @Adriano Faria provided a plug-in that returns a forbidden error when browsing those profiles, yet as @Chris027 points out, we don't expect to see user generated content after flagging an account as a spammer.
  6. @Jan Krohn, thanks for raising awareness of this potential issue. We did not realize this is how the share by e-mail functionality worked and have disabled it preemptively.
  7. Sure, sending to you via PM now.
  8. @Makoto, one very minor issue. There is an issue with the text formatting for the Deactivation Request link in the moderator control panel. The font awesome font (I think?) appears to be applied to the entire Deactivation Request string, causing it to look odd and out of place when the standard site font is different.
  9. Thanks so much, Adriano! Appreciate your help as always! Consider both those as suggested potential improvements (create support requests vs. pm, and the ability to customize preloaded responses on the fly, with special permission to do so).
  10. Ah, so there's no ability to customize the message being sent? It's just a selection from the predefined ones? Also, are these sent as support requests or via private message (or is it configurable)?
  11. It's a little unclear from the description, but does this happen automatically upon a user reporting or can a moderator choose a response and customize the response at the time of review? Thanks!
  12. Hi Mike, Same as this reviewer: Submit will fail for guests if "all" is selected under groups. I think the captcha is generated twice, so the wrong response is submitted on send.
  13. Yes, please. This plugin appears to be no longer available, and it'd be better if it happened upon submission and not on load.
  14. This requires unchecking everyone in settings as enabling it on guests causes an incompatibility with the built in captcha for guests.
  15. Seconding this request. We'd rather our members didn't solicit each other for e-mail addresses for privacy reasons, but would like to give them the option to gift other members by name.
  16. Thanks, it uploaded successfully. I had previously modified the json to swap to InnoDB, yet it took the new version just fine.
  17. @Makoto, we've just purchased and found that we cannot install this with MyISAM disabled. Our environment is InnoDB only, yet the deactivation_requests table is attempting to be created with MyISAM. Is there a dependency or this an oversight?
  18. Adriano, Thanks for putting that together. I'm wondering what the best way to handle approaching these sorts of users is long term.
  19. Is there a way to block the viewing of banned spammer member profiles? We've found a common spamming technique is to register an account and fill out the about me field. Realizing we could go edit the profile, making them not visible would be a nice option. Is there a way to achieve this out of the box?
  20. So, with this plugin, is there a configuration that allows the link button to show up in the editor, yet still moderate links? I'm a bit confused.
