Go posting it out. I'll check them in due time. 👍
Fixes will be in 4.5. Only new feature will be added later.

    Hi @Adriano Faria
Understandable, thank you for informing me.
I did find two other issues, this time I think they are bug for sure. Please see as follows:
On the "/mostusedtags" page - The breadcrumbs URL for the app say "/tags/%7B@tags%7D/?app=tags&module=tags&controller=index" rather than "/mostusedtags". Can you please tell me how I can update that? For the widget - if I update the number to like "25" or "50"most tags, it only updates the number for the week. The month, year, and all-time still show 5.

3 is not a bug, that’s how it was designed.
I won’t release nothing new before I release compatibility versions to all resources I have. So if this one doesn’t need an update, it’s ok. If it needs, it will be only a compatibility version.
I have almost 150 resources to test and update so I can’t and won’t waste time with new features now.
    Thank you.

I agree, ips should have this. The edge catch html sounds like a fantastic idea that could lower server load big time

i think the opening poster may have meant 4.4.10 since 4.1.0 seams unrealistically old.
in case of 4.4.10 vs 4.5 beta, since your site is still under construction, I'd say go for 4.5 beta so you know all of the features at your disposal. by the time you may be ready to deploy your site for public consumption, 4.5 may have reached its gold stage

If you have disabled a page and it is still showing up in the sitemap, I would recommend submitting a ticket with details as that would be a bug.

    Hi @AA15!
At the moment, you can create aliases for tags and customize the way they are displayed, but there's currently no way to change where tags link to.
I can look into adding this as a feature to the advanced editor potentially but can't make any promises.

AA15 got a reaction from The Old Man in Caching - Can Someone Please Explain?
Hi Invision Community. I was hoping is somebody could please explain the caching system in Invision?
    In the ACP it says...
    1. For file system, is that were Invision saves a static HTML page to the disk and serves that to users? Why does Invision say MySQL is better when hitting a database is more intensive than hitting a static HTML file?

    2. Also what is the difference between "Data Storage Method" and "Caching Method"? I've had a WordPress site in the past and often my CPU usage would spike to the point where the server would crash (thankfully W3TotalCache created static HTML files for caching purposes and that stopped that issue). Which caching method in Invision uses less server resources?
  14. Thanks
AA15 reacted to bfarber in Caching - Can Someone Please Explain?
Data storage aren't cached HTML pages - it's largely smaller bits of data that get reused, so they're compiled and stored to save processing on future page loads. We find that MySQL generally performs better than storing the caches on disk, but you can try both and see which is better in your environment.
Caching relates to taking those compiled bits of data and storing them in a proper cache handler, such as memcache or redis.
We recommend using redis if it is available.

AA15 reacted to ASTRAPI in Community Guide on Setting Up Wasabi and CloudFlare
    Hello
(This is a community guide on how to setup Wasabi and Cloudflare, as a significantly cheaper replacement for Amazon S3 and Cloudfront.  The author has no affiliate arrangement with any of the companies listed in the guide and offers the guide as a free community resource.  You should consult with your hosting provider and / or server administrator before proceeding with the guide.)
    BACKGROUND:
Invision Communities contain rich content, from forum attachments to gallery images to download files.  These resources add up over time.
Here are real examples of communities that I provide server administration for:
    - Website A: 400 GB of total storage and 1.2 TB of total monthly bandwidth
    - Website B: 800 GB of total storage and 14 TB of total bandwidth
Invision Community allows a file storage configuration with Amazon S3 and a content distribution network (CDN) of your choice:

    WHAT IS WASABI?
Wasabi Cloud  is faster and cheaper than Amazon S3 for object storage, offers unlimited egress for bandwidth, and compatible with Cloudflare.  One of the biggest hidden expenses of using Amazon S3 is not the cost of storage itself, but the bandwidth to deliver objects in and out.  Wasabi does not charge for egress bandwidth, which can save on the majority of the true cost of Amazon S3. It also provides an S3-compliant interface, which means it can be used as a perfect drop-in replacement for Amazon S3 storage and immediately usable on all Invision Communities.

Wasabi is 80% cheaper and 6x faster than Amazon S3, with 100% data immutability protection, and no data egress fees or API charges. Created by Carbonite co-founders and cloud storage pioneers David Friend and Jeff Flowers, Wasabi is on a mission to commoditize the storage industry. Wasabi is a privately held company based in Boston, MA.
In March of 2018, Wasabi pioneered the cloud storage industry’s first ‘unlimited free egress’ pricing plan. We are excited to join forces with Cloudflare and the Bandwidth Alliance, validating that the early business models of Cloud 1.0 vendors no longer applies in a world that expects unlimited everything.  What this means in practice is that you can use Cloudflare services (including the free plan) like blazing-fast DNS, WAF firewall, performance improvements on the fly, and much more.  Forums users will request a topic, and all static content can be picked up from Cloudflare's optimized services that will connect to Wasabi.

At the moment, Wasabi offers three Datacenters:
    1)US-WEST
    2)US-EAST
    3)EU-CENTRAL

One price. Lightning fast speed. No hidden fees.

You can check and compare the prices above.

    GUIDE:
BEFORE PROCEEDING, PLEASE BACKUP YOUR DATA FIRST!
YOUR FILES WILL BE IN PRIVATE MODE AND WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE ON YOUR FORUM !
YOU MUST GET A PAID PLAN TO BE ABLE TO ACTIVATE THE INVISION FILE PERMISSIONS AND GET YOUR FILES ACCESSIBLE AT YOUR FORUMS.
JUST ADD YOUR CREDIT CARD NOW (AT YOUR PROFILE PAGE) AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 5,99$ FOR A MONTH FOR 1TB STORAGE AND UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH.
THE FREE TRIAL WILL NOT WORK FOR INVISION !

Step 1: Create a CName at CloudFlare
We start by creating a cname at Cloudflare:
    cname -> cdn -> cdn.yourdomain.com.s3.eu-central-1.wasabisys.com  <--For Europe datacenter
    or
    cname -> cdn -> cdn.yourdomain.com.s3.us-west-1.wasabisys.com  <--For US-WEST datacenter
    or
    cname -> cdn -> cdn.yourdomain.com.s3.wasabisys.com  <--For US-EAST datacenter
    Like this:

Step 2: Create a bucket on Wasabi
First we sign up for a free account at Wasabi Cloud: https://wasabi.com/sign-up/
    Then we create a bucket:

It is important to name it as: cdn.yourdomain.com

Then keep default suspend Versioning and Suspend Logging:

    Then click CREATE BUCKET:

Step 3: Retrieve your Access Keys
Go to the menu on top left and click Access keys on the left. Click on "Create New Access Key."

Copy / save the access key and the secret key:

Step 4: Setting up a new file storage in ACP
Login to Admin Control Panel and navigate to Overview at the Files category and then click at the right side at Storage settings:

Then we click at Configurations and at the right side at Create New:

We select Amazon s3 and we add the following info:

    Save it.
Step 5: Set the new storage at storage settings
Navigate to Storage settings and select from the drop down menu the new Amazon s3 bucket.

Keep only at your server your theme resources:

*Attachments and Downloads doesn't work out of the box as it seems there is some hardcoded code at Invision related to S3...
To make them work you just need to install the addon bellow: (tested with Invision 4.4.4).

Then wait for any Invision background tasks to finish and check.
I hope that you will benefit from this tutorial and get better performance while saving a lot of money 🙂
    Enjoy!
    OTHER NOTES:
If you are already using S3 then it is very easy to move straight to Wasabi by following the above tutorial as it is NOT needed to move back your files to server and then to Wasabi.

AA15 reacted to Martin A. in Community Guide on Setting Up Wasabi and CloudFlare
    Yes.
As long as you follow the steps about Cloudflare, DNS, and naming of the bucket, you can do so free of bandwidth charge. The URL from the guide (cdn.yourdomain.com) points to the root of your bucket. If you upload static content to a folder named "static", the URL to files in that file is cdn.yourdomain.com/static/image.png.

AA15 reacted to Morrigan in How do you edit breadcrumbs for pages?
There is no real way to do this as "food" isn't a category or a container (which is what the breadcrumb bases its information on).
Technically to get what you want you would create a page called "Food" with a database on it and a category called "pizza" for it to be as you're expecting. Folders are more for organization and URLs not for breadcrumbs.

currently tags are defined into where clause with "IN" operator
//system/Content/Search/Mysql/Query.php:865 $tagWhere = array( $itemsOnlyTagSearch . \IPS\Db::i()->in( 'index_item_index_id', $tagIds ) ); I think this issue should be exposed into feedback forum for improve search filtering for future release

How can search be set to bring back content ONLY with multiple tags?
By this I mean, lets say I have 50 images tagged "Italian food" and 25 images tagged "american food". Of those, 3 are tagged "Italian food" AND "american food".
When searching, what settings do I need to update so search brings back those 3 tagged "Italian food" AND "american food" rather than bringing back all the images tagged with just one of those two tags (in this case it would be a total of 72 results)?
