...interesting. The same concept should be used in all apps too.

You can add a custom field and then filter by the custom field

Sometimes development isn't about creating something nobody has ever seen, but rather improving on existing concepts and providing a robust, built-in solution.

BomAle reacted to Joy Rex in New: Calendar Venues
Out of curiosity, are these feature additions driven primarily by customer feedback, or some internal investigative process to determine what features would best fit the product roadmap?
Not criticizing, just wondering what the primary driving influences behind new features are.
That being said, this is one of those "common sense" features, so well done!

BomAle reacted to Joel R in New: Reactions
This increases content item's reputation as well as user's reputation?
How does this display on a users profile?
Any blocks to show latest reactions?

Confirmed: algorithmic site management coming to IPS. Humans no longer trusted with making decisions.

BomAle reacted to Charles in New: Reactions
Yes of course you can easily add new reactions. It would be kind of restricted if you could not

Just a note: It seems that image width is higher than page width and breaks mobile layout here...

BomAle reacted to Charles in New: Social Sign In Streamlining
The point of this one was that having the sign in buttons in-context where the editor box normally is increases signups. We have tested this on live sites and saw an immediate increase in signups so we know it works.
But ... I think you are right on the cosmetic presentation. We will modify the design before final. Thanks for the feedback!

BomAle reacted to SardiniaNET in IP.Board 3.4 End of Support
Ridiculous.
Version 3.4.0 was released on November 27, 2012. Only 5 Years to abandon users or force you to go for fixed routes.
Over 6 months for porting data and contents from old (2!!) platform and now, another change? No, thanks. I will stop immediately the payments.

{{if request.app == 'forums' and request.module == 'forums'}} {{$forum_id = request.controller == 'topic' ? request.forum_id : request.id;}} FORUM ID IS: {$forum_id} {{endif}}

BomAle reacted to Martin A. in Theme Tip: Use HTML logic to display content to specific groups
You can also used the built-in inGroup method to check if a member is in a certain group, instead of the in_array option.
{{if \IPS\Member::loggedIn()->inGroup( array( 2, 4, 6 ) )}} This content only shows to members in groups with the ID 2, 4 or 6. {{endif}}
