    Hi there! Just wanted to pop in and say we will look into doing this for a future release 🙂

    I have noticed that invoices are being created when a user clicks on the checkout page, even if they do not complete the transaction. Is there anyway to stop an invoice being created unless they actually make a payment and complete the transaction?

    Can we have an option to hide Donation Goals from the public, and/or a date range to close said donations please?
    We have seasonal donations which we like to have open for a couple of months, and the only way we can remove this from the public is to delete the donation goal. Would be good is we had a closure date to prevent people donating to that goal, or hide it from public when the goal has ended.
    Having to delete a goal removes all the information, donations and those who donated, and we like to keep that information.

    My first thought was not of that, but is this broken and is this a bug which I need to report.
    I only want to hand my members a receipt/invoice on payment, I was looking through that list wondering if there was an issue with the Payment, Payment gate way or why my members were getting invoices. It wasn't until I started looking into this I noticed that there was an invoice created when I was on the Payment Page and had not actually paid.
    I personally would like if I could turn this off, as I do not like collecting information about people unless I really have too.
    Thanks for your reply, now at least I know what is going on ?
    I understand what you are saying, but I use this for my members to donate and purchase a Gold Membership, it is not a hard sell issue on my part and I would defiantly not be looking to follow this up in anyway.
    Cheers ?

    I have asked and they say they want to see clear post time, e. g. 8:00 or 9:00 and they do not want to calculate what time was 7 hours ago.  They are all women, if it relevant

    Our users complain about relative dates again and again. The main issue they have: they do not want to calculate how many hours ago is yesterday. They would like to differ between posts made today and yesterday. So they need clean statement today, 11:23 or yesterday, 23:43. At the moment if they see something like 19 hours ago they must work out if today is already longer as 19 hours then the post is from today. Otherwise from yesterday. A lot of our users wish to see what content has been published "TODAY".
    Can you please consider to change the logic of f_hours and f_hours_short to figure out whether the post has been made today or yesterday and print out the words instead of X hours ago?

    In your theme template find this template:
    Forums > front > topics > post
    <a href='{$comment->item()->url()->setQueryString( array( 'do' => 'findComment', 'comment' => $comment->$idField ) )}' class='ipsType_blendLinks'>{$comment->dateLine()|raw}</a> Change this:
    {$comment->dateLine()|raw} To this:
    {datetime="$comment->post_date" norelative="false"} Unfortunately its not relative at all but it will give a visual absolute date.

    I seriously do not see the objection or unwillingness to entertain this slight change?
    Honestly, you would think we were asking you to re-invite the wheel using mathematics which hasn't been invented yet and colouring it a nice shade of pink in the process.

    It is an attempt to use a XSS vulnerability. It was something related to DFP and AdSense ads, where it was possible to execute code through it.

    Update 1.05
    Changes And Fixes:
    Fixed: The bottom advertisement block would display below the Website Footer, this advert block will now display above the footer as expected. Changed: The "Block Settings" tab has changed its order within the form tabs to be the default tab (Settings tab was the previous default tab). This was due to the fact that the "Block Settings" tab is most likely to be the most used when editing the Plug-in settings. Added: Block Type Select Option: There are now three different "Block Types". This is to reflect the different types of content which can be used. WYSIWYG HTML Pages Changed: The original Text Editor (Text Box) has been changed to a WYSIWYG Editor (The Default Editor for IPS). This is to allow easy editing of a block content without the need to know HTML. Added: CodeMirror Editor. The CodeMirror box will allow adding HTML code with coding styles rather than just as plain text. Added: Pages Blocks. You can now add a Pages (CMS) Block by adding the Pages Block template key. So anything that you can dream up using Pages Blocks can be added to the Footer. Please be aware, the Pages Block styling my clash with your footer, so you may have to change the Pages Block Styling to match your Footer stying. Changed: Display This Block options. When de-toggling the 'Display This Block' option within the plugin form, this will hide the other options for this block, this is to keep the form clutter down to a minimum. I would suggest that you back up your data for this plug-in before updating to this version. Just in case.

    Disagree,
    When you label someone as banned you are in a sense classing this as a bad person and parading this information to all your other members. Other members don't need to know who is banned or not, as someone else pointed out, it is none of their damn business.
    It is like sites who create a whole topic to let others know that 'John Doe' is banned for X and X amount of time. If I see these types of posts, I will not join that community, period!
    The only people that need to know who is banned, is your admin and your moderators. I have found over the years having Banned all over your site just creates more issues, like people asking why so and so was banned and how unfair it was of you to ban them.
    Move on from 20 years ago and make moderation invisible to your users.
    For example. When I moderate someone, the moderation is between the site staff and the person moderated. We never ever discuss moderation with anyone other than the person moderated and we learnt this the hard way. All you are doing is setting your self up for a world of hurt if you start explaining or posting your moderation reasons to all your members.
    And for those saying that your members are too old to change, tosh! They might not like it at first, but they will get used to the changes. I generally find my members are more accepting if I explain to them why I am making the changes first. FYI, most of my members are in their 50's, football fans, and arrogant assholes, and if they can get used to change then anyone can!

    Wouldn't it be easier to create a 'Banned' group for visual representation if you're going through that trouble?

    Naturally, we try to consider anything that gains traction, however, this goes against the grain of every aspect of life. No where else that I'm aware of, other than "old school" forums, are those that have been subjected to disciplined paraded in front of the public with a naughty tag. I'm not aware of any social media platform that indicates a user has been banned or disciplined. Imagine getting a sticker placed on your car after getting a speeding ticket to let the world know you had your hand slapped. We are not likely to incorporate any feature that promotes public humiliation of members.
    As a tip for moderation - if content is being reported and you find it rises to the level of banning a user, the usual course of action would be to remove the offending content. You cited letting users know someone has been banned so they stop replying, but removing the content would accomplish this as well.
    If you're insistent on this, please consider using a third party resource or custom user group is likely your best option. You are, however, likely going to receive a higher number of GDPR "right to be forgotten" requests if you start publicly shaming your members for moderation actions taken.

    Sorry for the time it has taken to get this done. I had lots of issues with my test install and required help from support.
    Finally got the new version upload and waiting approval from the moderators.
    This new version has a ton of new features, changes and many bug fixes from the previous version.
