I watched and found out some new things. However, I missed some curiosities, statistics or funny stories, but for the first interview it was fine.
Charles seemed a little shy at first. 🙂 One small note, fewer questions about LGBTQ and more about IPS itself 👍
    So who's next? Maybe @Matt?
How do you deal with nulled software? what's your opinion on this? Why is everyone in IPS using a Macbook? :D How many people work at Invision Power Services?

Improving PageSpeed needs a layered approach. There are many things you can do with your server configuration (Invision Community Cloud and Enterprise customers need not worry about this, our cloud platform is optimised already). Sending CSS/JS as gzip, ensuring gzip encoding is on, consider using a CDN to speed up delivery of assets, etc.

Software side, we continue to make improvements. We have a plan for re-engineering how javascript and CSS is compiled to make the file sizes smaller.

Just keep in mind that a community platform is much more complex than a simple website, or Wordpress site. A community platform deals with user generated content, which means dealing with external assets such as YouTube embeds, images, GIFs and more.

SEO remains central to our development plans.

Outside of PageSpeed, we continue to improve with JSON-LD, sitemaps and more.

Thanks for these useful updates to Spam Management. These are always welcome.
In all honesty I was a bit disappointed to see no mention of improved anti-spam measures relating to the Contact Form though. I know all communities have varying spam problems, but this is where I get the majority if not most of spam from, not from by people registering on the forums thanks to the existing Spam Defence measures, which in recent years have been much more effective for spam posts.
Fortunately we have @Nathan Explosion's free Contact Form plugin that provides a quick check for previously banned email addresses to prevent spammers and banned members from using the Contact Form. Although there's no stats integration that I'm aware of, it's a free plugin with a quick hook into the banned email addresses, it helps in a big way. You you can tell it's working because email from repeat spammers just suddenly ceases arriving in your inbox, and the funny bonus thing is that the sender is oblivious and thinks the spam is still getting through, wasting their time, and not yours.
Also, I noticed no mention of supporting the latest versions of Google Recapcha, which seems an obvious starting point for anti-spam improvements.
Sorry to be a bit negative, these latest updates are really welcome and much appreciated, just pointing out there seems to be a few missed opportunities. With my pointy stick.

My only comment is I would strongly urge someone to look at Discourse to see what a typical "basic" set of badges looks like and make it very easy for Invision users to implement such a "basic" set to very easily have a great user onboarding experience.
This is the only area I think Discourse has been crushing us, and they really have pretty much nailed user onboarding through badges and gamification. I've joined two discourse communities recently related to some smart home stuff I'm doing (Hubitat being one of them) and the user onboarding with badges to reward participation and elevating to higher and higher trust levels the more things a person does to engage is just *chef's kiss*.
Sort of like the below (although I dobn't think this is the default set):

Where do we see what can be earned? Or what the badges mean? There’s no descriptions.
A really good example of a achievements system is on HotUKDeals, you can see the list of badges/awards that can be earned. I know Matt has said he doesn’t want to make it a game. But users seeing what they can earn is an incentive. But you can have stricter rules and not just have people randomly post.

Can this also track times? For an instance if the user has been logged in 200 hours we can award them for their time of being online.

Just to avoid some further confusion:) There was actually a bug which was resolved for 4.6 where the digests weren't stopped by this link.
