I had Google reCAPTCHA but still got spam. I added Q&A via plugin but it didn't help. I don't know how the bots / spammers were bypassing these security features. I had to restrict guest access since then I don't get spam anymore. My Q&A plugin (current waitning for approval)

@Gabriel TorresI turned on RocketLoader a month ago. There is a readable difference in loading speed, I recommend it to anyone! So far no problems. Additionally, I turned on HTML compression to get rid of those ulgy spaces from the document source. A month of testing, and so far everything is fine. 👍 Unfortunately, it is impossible to avoid all errors and warnings in PageSpeed Insights. Everyone knows that on a simple HTML page anyone can get 100 score, but IPS is a complex software and there is no chance to get 100 🙂 I see that you squeezed a lot anyway, good job 👍 -

So you can safely add this attribute in an upcoming release for Profile Pictures and still keep "native lazy loading" for other images until Mac adds support (If tey ever do). I think that's a good solution.

@Gabriel Torres What if someone comes in from a browser that doesn't support Lazy Loading? Pictures will not be displayed at all? Have you checked? Safari is second in the ranking by statcounter.com with almost 20% of global market share so it cannot be completely ignored.

Fully Agree. I tested a lot of fonts some time ago. The default font is similar to "Roboto". Except that Roboto is thicker and clearer. But default font is perfectly sufficient and loads immediately. font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", "Segoe UI Symbol"; I use Roboto (many top sites use it from my observations) but not from Google servers. I uploaded the font to my server and redirected it to CDN. Here's the tool https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts is good because you don't have to load all the charsets, you load the ones you use on your forums like latin-ext which translates into faster loading.

It's a pretty good idea. I'm for it. It is better to add settings in ACP where after adding a user, on his profile there will be information that this user is unfortunately dead, and his avatar and cover will be in gray color, Buttons and Online Status would be hidden or something like that. This can be done via hook. My vision 🤭

@bfarber i see, but these settings are for moderators only. Only members with mod permissions receive a notification that another moderator gave a warning to the user. Regular users are still not notified that they have been warned, as it was in 4.4. I'm confuse.

A lot of forums don't use CRON for tasks, SMTP for sending mail, REDIS for cache, etc. I wonder if the change of notification settings was treated with reduced queries and faster software loading?

I added a font-display property about a month ago to get rid of warnings. So far there have been no problems. As for the font from Google, Google already uses a new code. I have a question. Was the notification that someone got a warning also removed? I checked and no user gets notifications.

@kmk I think this sentence only applies to options in ACP when adding a new phrase. There is no such option directly in the widget. When you editing block go to "Content" tab, on right side you have "Tags" head. Click on Phrases [+].

I would see a built-in function to create Own Avatar (Character) for Profile Photo. Something like on pic but with fewer options.

Have you considered introducing Lazy Loading for Profile Photos? This would help with page loading speed, If someone uses GIF or a lot of weighty pictures.
