    @Lindy
    1 topic.
2 posts (opening post,  plus a reply)
How do you merge them? You can't because the first post, unlike in 3.4.x, cannot be selected.

Please make a simple way of merging the first message from the topic with others.
My moderators really need this feature...

    Hi all,
Trying to make Pages similar in usability as Joomla, I suggest to include more templates for database, categories and listing templates. The category listing template is really ugly, they're articles, not a blog!
    I suggest to include
    a) The "recipes" and "release notes" should be included as default in every IPB Pages installation. It will not harm to add a lot of ways to show the information.
    b) Category listing should have options like database's  article template  (category 3 column feature image).  Some very nice things were done by users, why dont include them?

    c) Import/Export for data OR move content between databases.
Pages has a lot of potential, good for the admin, but regarding look & feel you must learn template syntax to do something nice.
    Best Regards!

In progress, I will add also:
Some template for popup with ability to custom inside editor (if possible) or a button for live preview. Display options: show after x seconds, when scroll down (%), exit page, autoclose after x seconds, transitions, button for close... Remove database column from core_members and replace it with cookie (like a guest), this avoid ajax call when close dialog (performance improvement, but a ugly idea for who would remember the choise).

I've just mentioned this twice in other topics with reference to the activity streams and search functions, but I'm sticking it up separately as I really do think it's important.
The use of the reputation system in content discovery seems to be zero. Here we are, our members telling us 'this is a good post' - and we don't seem to be able to use that info. Right off the top of my head here are some ways we could be using that information:
    1) Show me posts with 10 or more likes - instantly you're getting a 'best of the board' feed
    2) Search for posts in topics with '4.1 upgrade failed', rank by likes - you get solutions or explanations of the problem
    3) Show me posts by users with over 1,000 likes - find out what our most valuable users are saying
    4) Blocks of most popular posts over the last 7/28/365 days - showcase to new members of our  best content; stuff to highlight in the newsletter
    5) Show me my highest rated posts - the ultimate ego-search. What do people love most about you?
    6) People who liked this post also liked...
    7) Loads of others, I bet
I find it remarkable that the time was taken to let us filter by number of replies or views, but not by how GOOD something has been judged to be. Major missed opportunity, IMHO.
Now, it is traditional at this point for someone to point out that actually all of these things are possible, I just haven't noticed how. Do go ahead...

I can confirm this bug with not receiving a PM after submitting a form.
I tried switching to that method today and posting a form myself, and I did not get a PM.

I'm thinking he'll probably have forms done tomorrow. (Well today. . Tuesday) He's upgraded a few of his other apps already and pushed those so I don't think this one is far behind.  Kind of in the same boat as you, but it's only just one form that's not working so I guess we're lucky.  haha

I agree. We need this modification of the wiki permission system.

    There is one setting now:
    Moderate new records
But one VERY Important setting is missing:
    Moderate records changes
Without this setting the whole system is useless as the user can post cool new posts and after they get approved they are posting porn stuff in it ... and i dont even get informed about post changes AT ALL!!! do i always have to get there and see if there is changed content ... every hour, every minute?
So why dont moderate post changes?
    Here is a possible solution:
after the user changes the post inform moderator save a copy of this post: "set this post for moderation" from now on this user sees only this "edit-copy" of this post, all other users see the original post let the user edit this copy so many times he wants to after every submit, the post is sent for submiting (if revisions are enabled only this revision) no need to hide or delete the original post unit changes are confirmed as its different postID if revisions are enabled => use it insead of postID or always use revisions when wiki-editing is enabled after the moderator confirmed the changes ovverride the orginal post with the new version delete the copy or save a revision inform user => post approved This system right now makes absolutely no sense without changes-moderation. So please make some changes or disable it completly.
    What you think?

I've got two different copyright, one for my free plugins and applications (e.g. Guest Message, Donate Sidebar) that is 15 USD lifetime and covers only the free plugins/apps. I've got another copyright that is 45 USD lifetime and covers all my paid and free apps and plugins. (e.g. Donations, Forms, Videos, Guest Message, Donate Sidebar).
It's not a secret, I just don't sell it through the marketplace as it doesn't include the ability to track urls with copyright removal. I can manually setup an account if you can PM me the details you would like to use.

I've just uploaded the latest version which should cover all the recent bugs after IPB 4.1 and a few minor feature additions as well.
Menu tab fix and support for default navigation function Problem with guest pm submissions and database error. Problem with guest submissions that require captcha. Form save error that arose after IPB 4.1. New "require form url" setting that disables the splash page and "show forms" button and requires the full form url. Preview form link added within acp for fast access to the public form view. Integration with the Rules application. View more information on the Rules app here. I want to personally thank @Kevin Carwile for working on the Rules integration.

I am not going to argue with you on how you run your business. I appreciate the efforts you and all developers put into building these plugins. I think yours is the first IPB plugin that I came across that had this.  I remember the copyright thing being a big "feature" 10 years ago.  I would consider raising your price $5 and remove the copyright thing totally.  Maybe you will sell more.  I could only image how nastly people's forums will start to look if everyone tries to make a few extra bucks to remove the credit from every widget that gets put out there.  I don't think it's a practice I would like to see embraced again, that is for sure.  You put the price on it, which should be what you want for that plugin.  Like I suggested raise the price a few bucks and remove it for everyone.
