Invision Community 5: A video walkthrough creating a custom theme and homepage By Matt Thursday at 04:02 PM
Ramzzes Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Please make a simple way of merging the first message from the topic with others. My moderators really need this feature... PPlanet, OptimusBain, Apfelstrudel and 3 others 5 1
Management Lindy Posted January 9, 2017 Management Posted January 9, 2017 There's already a merge topic function under Moderation Actions, assuming I'm understanding you correctly. If you literally mean only the first post in a topic, what are you trying to accomplish and what would happen to the rest of the posts in the source topic? Ravion 1
Nathan Explosion Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 @Lindy 1 topic. 2 posts (opening post, plus a reply) How do you merge them? You can't because the first post, unlike in 3.4.x, cannot be selected. Ramzzes, Bill Edwards, Ravion and 2 others 5
Apfelstrudel Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Please @Lindy bring back the checkbox for the first post. I don't know what the reason why the first post can't be merged with any other post. We would need this feature very often. Ravion, Bill Edwards, Sirapat Kidwisala and 2 others 5

I want to merge, for example, the first and second post in the same topic. In IPB 3 was such a function. Edited January 9, 2017 by Ramzzes Ravion, Sirapat Kidwisala, OptimusBain and 1 other 4

All Astronauts Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 @Ramzzes @Apfelstrudel @Nathan Explosion Kitchen Sink will have this in the next version. Merge only though. Bill Edwards and Ravion 1 1
