Thanks for the quick feedback, I will check on this YEP, I have this set correctly. I have had it set correctly all along. Guest are still able to download the files because OWNERSHIP is transferred to them. Guest = Owner and has permission to download. Please help. EDIT: I see, you are saying it's a bug with IPB?

Found a MAJOR issue with this and downloads app. When a contributor is allowed to delete their account they become a guest. Thus guests to your site become owners of paid files and can download them for FREE!!!! Please help!! My users figured this out and I am hemorrhaging lost sales. User Tom contributes paid file User Tom deletes account User Tom becomes Guest Any Guest on Earth can download paid files for FREE

Anyone know if this is still an issue in 4.3?

I wish downloads app, looked more presentable. I use it as a store. Also on phones I wish carousel supported touch.

oh no.. I think it might be a good idea to get download plus working sooner than later. I doubt much will be changing from beta to final release. I need download plus ready to go when 4.3 launches. Are you able to help? Thank you

right, it shows like a vertical topic list when I drop it in horizontal mode ON THE files page. IE: dropped my widget into my market place (where the red arrow is pointing in screen shot I provided)

Hi Tried to use widget on files page (downloads) widget is set to show files (on actual files page). Dropped it horizontally right under normal stuff there (see screen shot pointing to where I put it) Screenshot provided in "about this file" for random block widget shows that files should look as attached. but instead it looks nothing like this. Did not look right. Was doing a vertical view even in horizontally placed block and also formatted as if topic instead of files. Needs to look like screen shot. Please help. Thank you

I love the idea of this but I have a question for anyone .. What if this has the reverse effect? Do you think some folks will see the reminder and decide to change their email address from real to a fake one?

this plugin is filling my database with errors

I don't know what exactly is going on but my indexes are trending to zero. I have tried several recommended things and I am still going to zero.

Apparently I am also a victim of whatever issue is going on here. I will have to read through this whole thread and see if there is any solution buried herein. Thank you it's killing me. I was wondering why my registrations have tanked. I was digging in and figured out that. index pages have gone from 75K+ to ~1K REALLY BAD NEWS!!

shoot. I like the current referral system but it needs some enhancements. I was hoping this was that. I use the current system as an affiliate system offering %$ returns to users who refer others. The issue is users are confused by it. They click the link and it just takes them to the home page. Doesn't ever let them know they are counting or being logged as a referred user. and those who refer have no idea who or how many they are getting credit for. Some small tweaks to current system and it would be good affiliate system.

I am confused. Does this have anything to do with the referral system already included with IPB?

it's not possible to get linked to a blog search if I click a tag under the blogs tab? i just realized, I also still have this issue. Maybe it's best to not use the widget on my site. I can use the PAGE for tags and thats pretty good
