Hi Mike Since the dev of https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7811-advanced-status-updates-widget/ seems to be missing in action, is it possible that you can upgrade this status plugin to allow images, youtube vid and other rich media embeds? I use it as the main social media feed on my site and am badly suffering without it. Thank you Also need a way to view the next 5 etc. like a view more button or pagination or something. Please

I would like to use this for digital content only. My idea is that someone would offer an amount with a description of what they want. Takers can then accept the offer if they like. Example: "I will pay $250 to anyone who can provide custom digital content described here as description) Would I be able to use this in this way?

is this mod 4.2 compatible?

I am kind of mixed on this. While I like the idea in some ways and I believe it was well produced by mod author; I am worried that leading people off site might not be what I want. What would the benefit be for me as a site owner? Honest question.. interested in opinions.

There is a powerful bit of information herein this mod I noticed. It breaks up your member count into two buckets "active", and "inactive". What cool information!!! I like it, I really do. However I want to be able to do something with this information. It may be something for a separate mod but it would be awesome if I could send an email to ONLY the inactive group inviting them to come back. I think there is tremendous potential there.

so I take it this issue isn't addressed at all in the upcoming 4.2?

Right, .. it's really just a matter of adding a 'distinct' to the query. Not sure why this doesn't happen. "count distinct user" instead of "count user" *sigh* hopefully someone will catch this and make the edit

I am just going to post here because I can't update my review. I feel like people don't understand what this does. Trust me you NEED this you just don't know it yet. (read on) This mod allows your contributors to downloads who contribute PAID files the ability the manually generate an invoice for a user. This gives your contributors the ability to have more control over their business on your site. for example, your contributors can offer 1 free download to anyone who makes the most posts in a specific thread. or they can offer a free download as a customer service measure to make one of your customers happy. They can also BETTER see who downloaded their files and how many times. (this works better than built in system) Really, it will be the best $10 you spend all week. TRY IT!! This mod SAVED MY A$$: As many of you know I was recently hacked. I had to go to a backup made several days prior to the hacking. What about customers who purchased after the backup? Do they have to re-buy the video? It's easy enough to have contributors re-upload the files but without this mod there would have been no way for contributors to manually add purchases for customers who already paid. I would have to do all of it myself in the ACP.

no because you have to pay to download. IF they go to that extent, then they really aren't cheating they are purchasing multiple times which I am okay with.

I have contributors downloading the same file repeatedly to fake their rank in the top downloads list. (Or asking other members to download repeatedly) Can't we throw a "distinct" in that sql count select to make the list fair? (count user only once who downloads repeatedly)

He is showing all the options in his display picture you can have as many or as few of these as you like. It's very customization enabled. Thank you!

With regard to online status can I PLEASE have a way to have only the online PIP next to the name and not the status row? I want only the online pip on both mobile and regular and never the online status row. Also, offline would look better as a grey instead of a red. Red tends to imply bad things but greyed out just means not available. Thank you much for all the work you're putting into this.

so the new update seems like it has some very good potential. yeah that was it. Maybe truncate rank title is an option too? Also I was thinking it would be neat if profile banner could be hidden on mobile as an option. So it works on desktop only. It gets kinda weird on mobile because people have LARGE and TALL images and it should doesn't work. Either hide on mobile or make the whole feature so that the height of banner is = to height in profile so it crops at a certain point.

I went ahead and picked it up anyway. Looks fun, I will play with it and give any feedback if I think of something. Thank you
