Is it me, or CloudFlare RocketLoader is now working and not breaking anything? I've been running it since two hours ago and everything is working correctly...

It seems that every line of code is for the Cloud version. I've been using the self hosted version since 2017 and I feel pretty stupid looking for features on my forum, until I realized that these are not for self hosted (live topics, etc).
Honestly the Cloud prices are not for my budget, it's a pitty since I really like the software but I'm not going to pay for a cloud based product, you can get Adobe Suite with cloud storage for a fraction of the Invision Cloud package. Dean_ is right, self hosted is going to dissapear, good luck invision.

Hiring Adlago to rebuild the CSS perhaps is a way to go.. IMHO.

I'm treating the file as a static file and I cache it in cloudflare. The point is that this single used to extend page load by 1 second. Since I purge cloudflare cache almost daily I get a fresh copy every day.

rfcontreras got a reaction from Unienc in Split LTR and RTL in different CSS's
    Hi,
I've noticed that css files are evaluating if it's LTR or RTL, I use LTR so I would like to ask to split the css according to direction. CSS files are innecesary loading RTL, not needed and a waste of resources.
I'm using stock templates and I was able to optimize everything but css's sizes. There's a lot of room for improvements on the css department.
Also "advertising". Enabling banners will spike the LCP, I've finished disabling it but this could also be improved.

My stack is Nginx, Opcache, Nginx-Pagespeed and Cloudflare.

    Thanks in advance
This is my score just in case you're curious

I've been wondering for a few hours whether to leave an opinion or not ...
I can accept new prices - it is clear that you have an argument for this.
    But!?!
Even 4.6.6 does not offer a performance boost, especially for mobile.
Too many sites that allow Google ads - Web Vitals have desperately bad results - I don't see anything in this direction in your work, developers.
And what should owners of these sites do? Google lowers their revenue, you increase their license!
Apart from your own budget, don't you have an interest in performance improvements for your clients?
You have good enough developers and you can easily solve all the requirements for Web Vitals. Why don't you do it?
I wonder if I'm wondering, but your new site is also performing poorly

Your FCP and LCP results for the last few hours are deteriorating.
You have also allowed duplication ID of "elSigninButton_mobile".
    https://validator.w3.org/nu/?doc=https%3A%2F%2Finvisioncommunity.com%2Fforums
In short - nothing new, but more expensive.

My two cents. Some posts with images in my site are flooded with small messages like "nice", "awesome", and post with just a sentence.
Would be great if in this scenarios instead of showing the full user data (name, avatar, about, rank, etc) just show the username only. This way you'll avoid a lot of wasted space for small replies.

I'm using 4.5 with Redis 5.x and it seems that it's not caching anything. Is this cache supposed to be used only for guest visitors or also registered visitors? My Cache on Support-> Redis are very low.

Insert one item in to your pages database. Look at the cms_databases table in your site database and identify the database_id for your pages database. Look at the cms_custom_database_X (where X = that database id) table and review the content, and how it is populated. Take that structure and mirror it in your excel spreadsheet (titles etc) Use the Import -> CSV functionality in phpmyadmin to import the csv file in to the table. It's how I've populated over 100 years worth of football league tables in to a pages database - approximately 20,000 records.

    Hi OpenType,
In my case, it will improve the loading speed a lot if I can lazyload the background images on my database. Check this catalog of observable deep sky objects by month, until the last image is loaded the pages does not finish loading, with a huge speed penalty.

I'm using your products on my site on several databases, so improvement can be considered important. Looking forward to hear your thoughts.

rfcontreras got a reaction from BomAle in Pages templates
    Hi all,
Trying to make Pages similar in usability as Joomla, I suggest to include more templates for database, categories and listing templates. The category listing template is really ugly, they're articles, not a blog!
    I suggest to include
    a) The "recipes" and "release notes" should be included as default in every IPB Pages installation. It will not harm to add a lot of ways to show the information.
    b) Category listing should have options like database's  article template  (category 3 column feature image).  Some very nice things were done by users, why dont include them?

    c) Import/Export for data OR move content between databases.
Pages has a lot of potential, good for the admin, but regarding look & feel you must learn template syntax to do something nice.
    Best Regards!
