    We too are having problems with our subscription feature. On 1-1-22 we changed our annual subscription fee from $19.95 to $24.95. Most of the time the renew invoice comes up as it should. However, sometimes it comes up and when the members clicks on the renew button it shows the renew period in terms of months. We have never offered any subscription in terms of months yet the month period magically appears. The member puts a 12 in the open box next to months and comes up with a order review of $299.40 instead of the one yr at $24.95. I have had to manually fix several of these cases. 
    In addition, some members renew and get an invoice that was created prior to 1-1-22 with the old subscription fee of $19.95. Those invoices expired but it is appearing as though they have never expired and these members are renewing for 1 year under the old rate instead of renewing for the price increase rate that took effect in 2022.
    Several times a day I look at the new invoices created. I have had to delete many of these bad invoices and create new invoices for member accounts that accurately reflect how the renewal invoice should read. I hate that I have had to be so manually involved in this process. As I mentioned above, sometimes the new invoice is generated correctly and sometimes it is not.
    Thanks @opentypefor starting this topic as we thought that this invoice issue was something unique only to our situation.

    I definitely consider this not working as intended too and it's something I frequently deal with.
    It frustrates my customers and me personally. I can't see why anyone would want it to work this way.
    You have subscription options available monthly and annually, and once someone has opted for a monthly subscription, they can never let that subscription expire and opt for an annual one instead?
    That makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever. I can't think of a single platform anywhere on the internet that operates this way.
    IPS, I've said this many times before, I like you guys and all, but sometimes you are way too hardheaded when it comes to addressing things none of your customers actually want.

    The issue: when someone let’s a subscription (product subscription or regular subscription) expire, they will later not be able to buy it again, because the invoice on file prevents a new subscription. But the existing subscription also cannot be renewed because the invoice has expired. This can only be solved by intervention from an admin (manually finding and deleting these invoices), but there might be hundreds of those and it would require a constant monitoring of expired invoices. 
    The solution: The check that prevents a new subscription with an invoice on file should be removed or adjusted. Someone who doesn’t have a subscription anymore, because subscription and invoice have expired, must be treated like anyone who never had a subscription. Both groups should see exactly the same offers because their status in relation to these subscriptions is the same. 
    Why it matters: People run into this problem all the time and it’s not just an inconvenience, it it costing them money, because people who would want to pay cannot pay and probably just give up. Here are just a few examples from the recent days (and I have observed this and commented on it for years): 
    Subscription buttons don't show up. (yesterday)
    Subscriptions Bug (yesterday)
    invoice has expired but member cannot renew (7 days ago)
    The development time to fix this is probably much cheaper than having IPS support deal with this issue for years, constantly identifying the issue and guiding people through the process of the possible work-arounds. So it would be a win-win situation to finally fix this. 😉

    By the way Gauravk, when I have issues usually if you disable all the plugins and anything that is added by a third party to see if the issue resolves. If it does resolve, it is probably one of the third party items I have added. All you do is turn each one on one at a time and see if the issue returns until you figure out which one is the culprit. If you turn all the third party items off and the issue is not resolved then at the very least you can explain to IC support the issue is not resolved when you turn all third party items off.

    All screen grabs that could potentially identify your community are already removed. Literally the only one left is the first one left is the one that says there was an error.  Not sure what else you want them to remove as no other images show for me.

    As IPS support is only meant to doubt other developers, tools, 3rd party plugins for every basic troubleshooting than to themselves. This inherently limits the IPS learning curve more and more by making a blanket rule to suggest switching to the stock theme and disabling all plugins (which happened in my last 3 support topics) - which maybe sometimes related and most of the time it's not related as the nature of the problem is totally different and such blanket rule end up frustrating the users even more who is already suffering from some pressing and urgent issue.
    It's like you visit a doctor for a headache and the receptionist wants your bank statement, passport, marriage certificate, change the font on your Gmail, change the color of your car, and then only he can forward you to the real doctor.
    I found the solution to this issue and it's THE CORE IPS bug - and not any third-party plugin, logo change or color change, or CDN system.
    I simply reach the solution by weighing the nature and intensity of the problem vs the reach of any plugin, theme or Cloudflare.
    You can log in to my ACP and see that guy has finally been able to pay few hours back.

    Nigh on impossible to do so - nobody can tell what the code is because you only provided a screenshot. Provide a link to the page in question, and then the code is viewable.

    The underline is being added because by default we underline all links in content created within the editor, and so when you wrap the review box in a link, all text inside it becomes underlined. This is the expected behavior even though it doesn't look 'correct' in this specific instance.
    You could exclude the review widget by adding something like this to your custom.css file:
    .grw-net-widget, .grw-net-widget * { text-decoration: none !important; }

    Take a look at the CleanTalk plugin.  
    It's done wonders for me on the contact form spam.  It's like $8 per year so not a heavy lift cost wise.

    We receive these spammy messages daily.

    Hello,
    It seems as though the "jittery" issue you're referring to is simply the ajax content loading onto the page. I unfortunately have no further improvements for that part.
    The header height (on both desktops and mobiles) as well as the height of the logo can be edited via the theme settings, under the Custom tab. CSS changes aren't needed for that. 🙂
    If you do need to add css variables to custom.css for another reason, you just need to wrap them with :root{} like so:
    :root{ --primary-navigation--height: 52px; --secondary-navigation--height: 50px; } I hope that helps!

    We are unable to advise on customisations unfortunately. Before anything else, please test this on a defualt unaltered theme. As was found in the size issue, you are not currently running all default. I have tagged @Ehren here to see if he has any further suggestions for you

    Hello,
    The core > global > framework > _vars.css file has been modified in your theme. Reverting that file will fix your issue. 🙂
    If you need to modify your CSS, you should add your code to the custom.css file. Editing the core files is not recommended as it can cause issues like this.

    Please change the logic for expired subscription, so that upgrades, downgrades, upsell, cross-sell should be super easy and intuitive than member emailing admin to remove my expired monthly subscription as now he want to buy an annual subscription or move to other available subscription option.

    I've got some ideas I want to look at for this situation, deleting existing subscriptions (and thus removing records of purchases) isn't one of them though. If they're upgrading to a higher tier subscription, they could renew the one they have now and then upgrade it. I know it isn't ideal, but it's a working upgrade path.
    However, not seeing an error message when the member tries to log in is not intended, I have filed a bug report for that and we'll take a look. They should be seeing an explanation for the issue instead.

    Applied now and they are working good.
    Any way to increase profile pic size by 200% in mobile device as badge is so miniscule that no one will ever notice it.
    This is exact same width showing on my 6 inch Samsung Note and iPhone.

    I dont know why IPS is still in denial after 75% mobile device usage and yet standard IPS themes arent thumb friendly in 2022.

    Thanks Adriano for super quick help to save the embarrassment.
    What Adriano can achieve single handedly within few hours should have been given as an option from IPS to toggle ON/OFF button for people who want millisecond accuracy on cached block (Switch OFF) instead killing the whole useful functionality for daily needs.
    HUMBLE REQUEST TO IPS: Please don't remove existing features and functionality on every upgrade, it's very annoying, scary and embarrassing for community owners.
