Nobody speak about digg/pligg functionality but without them forums will die because pligg cms will take over forums (google answers use the same functionality):

I need some features like in pligg CMS (and digg):

1). to be able rate all posts, all messages and sort them immediately by rating -> it will be very usefull for news at the start page: messages with the bad rating must not appear at all, hiding posts is not a good tool at all.
For example in this topic we can not see most requered features for IPB, if we had rating system like in digg, The message/post with most requered features would appear at the beginning and we would not see posts without importance
2). see comments in blogs in the other 'new' way like here:
    http://ideabank.opendns.com/story.php?title=Block_adult_images_in_thumbnails_in_Google-#comments
because sometimes I what to reply on the previous comment and not on blog but I can't do that...

be able to see reputation and all other feature (country, age, ...) in the member list and sort member by reputation or other chosen feature

    more mouseovers
be able to change the font like in phpbb

If you are agree with me please vote this post up

While the issue itself should be resolved, some clients may now be in the members group. If your license is active, log out and back in to "re-update" it.

Moving forward we should have "real-time" updates for your permissions. When you buy a new package, it should automatically update your permissions here without requiring you to log out and back in.

Well then I guess you guys are not going to fix it or tell me how to do it so I will cut my RSS news feeds down to one. That severely limits a board which is about current events and wants to use RSS news feeds for that purpose but it is your decision to enforce limitations on boards similar to mine. So be it.

For the first time in the several years I have used IPB you now have a unhappy customer in me.

Adding javascript for something like that is just more overhead the browser has to process for something non-essential.

They will be once they are ready for use. They are "beta" releases at the moment.

Something like this wouldn't be introduced in 3.0.4. It would wait until a major update (like 3.1) if it were to be introduced.

I'm not sure what the big deal is here, to be honest. There was a bug reported. It was investigated, the problem identified, the issue resolved in the next release following the report. That's normal procedure for bugs. Perhaps this bug is more annoying to you than other bugs, but in reality it's no different than any other bug that gets reported.

To buy a IPB blog requires you to buy a IPB board? WOW that's just a waste of money.

Now that's a total of $200.00. WOW you guys are trying to make money off from us.

If you let your moderators delete topics then no....I mean, they can just click the checkboxes to the right of the topic listing already, so you're not protecting anything. You're just making it take potentially 20 seconds longer.

Please don't jump to conclusions that IPB itself was hacked. :) There are dozens of possibilities. If the owner believes it was IPB itself that was compromised, they are certainly free to submit a ticket and we will assist them to the best of our ability in tracking down how the hacker got in and what damage was done exactly.

    Hello,

Please note that Invision Power Board is a commercial product and as such, you must purchase a license to use the software permanently and/or obtain technical assistance. You may find more benefits to purchasing a license here.

If you are an existing customer, please log into your client center and follow the instructions for upgrading your IPS forums account, found at the bottom of the first page you see.

We look forward to helping you!

If we added a way for users to select which forums show up in the view new posts feed, would that be a sufficient solution? That's something that I think a lot more users would find useful, but should also address your primary concern?
