Me too, I'd love to have this on my site (4.7.3)

So copying the source from an existing article and posting it into a new one brings up the same result.
One space between the lines in 'body' and two in 'exclusive content'.
Updated the admin password for user cp so should be working for you now, Marc.

I had an issue along similar lines when I upgraded from 4.3 to 4.7 this week.
Some active subscriptions were cancelled during the upgrade whereas others continued on as normal. It looks like it only affected the long time subscribers who had been continually renewing on an older sub created on a different platform and carried over from a previous conversion. Those subs got cancelled, but ones created on invision seemed to be fine.
Were your older subscriptions created on this platform or converted to invision from something else?
The ip address connected to my cancellations resolved to Australia. And when I clicked on that ip it brought up a list of members whose subs had been cancelled.
    See below

Yes we updated to 4.7.3 and this is when it was noticed - I will be updating to 4.7.4 tomorrow and will keep an eye on this and see how it plays out.  Thanks for sharing that information as it has calmed my anxiety down somewhat.

Worth your while when it comes to pages, no doubt. I know Ive made funny comments about opentype and his pages addiction before, but the guy really does know the product inside out, and uses it to full effect 🙂

The plug ins I've bought from you are so important to my site and the price of them is so reasonable that I have happily signed up for a year's premium membership. Plus you've been very helpful on things like this when you didn't need to so it's the least I can do 👍

That from a Yes/No field which shows for everyone except the premium group. I have a detailed description but that is part of my own premium offers. 😉

A much better solution would be to use the Content Field only as a preview field with your introduction text. Then use a second editor field for the actual article. That way, only the preview field would be posted to the forums and it could update automatically.
You could even take this further by using the field permissions to hide the premium content while letting everyone you choose to access the article page. Here is an example of that method: https://www.opentype.space/free-articles/phpsmtpsendgrid-do-i-need-to-use-an-external-email-service-with-invision-community-r2/

    Hi @tlw1999,
Hopefully you have some luck with the theme's author. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

It’s not a global setting. Each page in Pages may or may not have a sidebar.
For a Page Builder page, just open the front end block manager and put at least one widget into the sidebar. Then the sidebar will be used.
You probably don’t use that but for the sake of completeness: Manual pages in Pages have setting in the ACP which controls the appearance of the sidebar.

This looks like some broken HTML code resulting in the sidebar being moved to the footer.

Yeah, that’s a broken layout. The sidebar is pushed down I think. You would need to find the HTML errors causing this and then the sidebar will appear as it should.

This is one of our "Real Time" features on our Cloud platform. I'm afraid, this is not available on self-hosted. If you're interested in exploring this and many more of our Cloud features, please see: https://invisioncommunity.com/buy

As you're using a custom theme, I'd test this on an unmodified theme to see if this is still present. If this issue is not present, please contact your theme's author.

Added this last night and I love it. I'm using a combination of this and supergrid and I'm delighted with both.
    Thanks for another great product.

So the site went live again last night and so far it's been running great. It's much quicker than it was before, which is presumably due to the DB table conversion. Thanks guys for the help getting me back on track 👍

Great news! After uninstalling, deleting everything, changing the settings back to standard, I reinstalled Supergrid again from scratch and it works perfectly and looks fantastic on the new version.
So for anyone who experiences issues after updating to the latest board, just wipe everything and start again and hopefully that does the trick.
This is definitely the most important plug in I use so this is a big relief to get it back.
  21. Thanks
tlw1999 reacted to opentype in Pages SuperGrid support
No, that is not how it works. It would only turn off the settings and the CSS – but the CSS isn’t working for you anyway, so it is expected that nothing changes.
I really can’t say more. I haven’t seen your site, let alone your ACP, so I can’t check what is going on. You could start fresh and remove SuperGrid entirely. (Note that you would have to manually remove all SuperGrid templates. They are not removed by removing the plugin.)
But it could also be that you have some other issues on your website which just result in the SuperGrid CSS not working. That is in fact very likely. I’ve seen it many times. Because IPS merges the different CSS files, a problem in one file could stop the rest of the additional CSS to fail.

My hosting provider is currently converting tables from MyISAM to InnoDB for me so when that's done I'll have a look at the server error log. Thanks.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I had the database setting on the standard options but the category settings are showing as 'use database template'. Even though the DB template is set to the standard listings, that doesnt show in categories unless I manually set it to show the standard.
The problem with that is now it just looks like a forum display and I don't want that for my articles section. Going to try installing supergrid again and see how that works.
  24. Thanks
tlw1999 reacted to Marc Stridgen in Problems after upgrading to latest version
So, with the template side of things with pages, I see you are going through that with the designer there to get that sorted, so hopefully you can get that to where it needs to be. This will of cours also affect the sidebar on those pages, so would suggest you get that sorted first of all.
With the speed of things, before you do anything else, go to support in the top right of your admin CP, adn address the database items. These will certainly cause slowdown (the INNODB one specifically), and are server side items. You would need to contact your hosting company to correct the table types if you are unsure on how to do this
  25. Thanks
tlw1999 reacted to opentype in Problems after upgrading to latest version
That’s still not a stock template. Make sure to go into the database settings (and possibly also the category settings) to set all the templates back to standard options. In fact, the Listing Template in IPS doesn’t even support thumbnails.
