  1. The source code looks the same in both fields, but the generated page has the double line spacing in the custom field I created and the single line in the default 'body' field.
  2. Yeah, clubs are active and I'm the admin so I have access to all of them.
  3. I did change, and I disabled the supergrid plug in too. Then when I saw it didn't make any difference I reverted back again. Happy for you to go in and do what you need to. I won't touch anything until after you've been in and done what you need to.
  4. Ok thanks for clarifying Jim. I did that, reverted to the normal 'display' template which is unmodified, but there was no difference to the formatting.
  5. I was wondering about this too, but I do not have the 'clubs' option when I try to move. It only shows community.
  6. Not quite sure what you mean Jim. I don't think I have any other templates, or if I do I do not know how to post an article in one. The 'body' field (the one which is showing everything as it should be) is an unmodified field. The 'exclusive content2' field is one I created using the same specs as the body field. The only thing that is different is I removed {value} as otherwise it would show in the preview and I need that to be hidden. Aside from that they seem to be the same. The 'teaser paragraph' was a field I created too, and that also does not display properly.
  7. This was the test I did earlier https://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/index.php?/articles/features/misc-articles/test2-r3489/
  8. So copying the source from an existing article and posting it into a new one brings up the same result. One space between the lines in 'body' and two in 'exclusive content'. Updated the admin password for user cp so should be working for you now, Marc.
  9. Just done that, and this is interesting. I took the same few paragraphs of text and posted them in three different fields - teaser paragraph, body and exclusive content. Looking at the source all three were the same. When I posted the article, the first and third fields showed the double line spacing, the middle one (body) showed it the way it should be. When I checked the source again, they're still showing the same. Edit: I copied from an external text document and not from an already published article on my site. I will try again doing that.
  10. I've tried it from different sources and I have always done them both the same way in both editors. I have done it from articles on my own site (converting an exiting article into the new split article), and also from applications such as text edit. I have copied the entire piece of text and posted in both boxes before editing out the bits I don't need from each, and I have done it by copying the text I need for the body and pasting that, and then going to get the text I need for exclusive content and pasting that the same way. Regardless of how I do it I get the same result every time. Body field formats normally, but exclusive content adds the extra line.
  11. Thanks Marc Database is articles. Field names are 'body' and 'exclusive content2'. See below for examples. Both of these were pasted from the same document and not edited. The first one (body) shows up correctly, but the second one shows the double line spacing. body field Exclusive content2 field
  12. I did this and it had the ip address being used by a number of members who I know for certain were not using that ip. In the member history it said 50, and those members all had their subs cancelled during the upgrade.
  13. I don't use Stripe, only paypal. Have you recently upgraded to a newer version? All of my changes happened during an upgrade to 4.7 and there has been nothing since. I agree that it is unsettling that an unknown ip seems to be able to cancel subscriptions, but I assumed it was a glitch in converting them during the upgrade.
  14. Me too, I'd love to have this on my site (4.7.3)
  15. I had an issue along similar lines when I upgraded from 4.3 to 4.7 this week. Some active subscriptions were cancelled during the upgrade whereas others continued on as normal. It looks like it only affected the long time subscribers who had been continually renewing on an older sub created on a different platform and carried over from a previous conversion. Those subs got cancelled, but ones created on invision seemed to be fine. Were your older subscriptions created on this platform or converted to invision from something else? The ip address connected to my cancellations resolved to Australia. And when I clicked on that ip it brought up a list of members whose subs had been cancelled. See below
  16. I have recently added a new field to my articles in pages. Basically I use the record field (body) to display a teaser of the article and then I have a second field for exclusive content which is only visible to subscribers. It's working perfectly (thanks @opentype 👍) except for one small problem. The two fields seem to be formatting text in different ways. The main body is formatting normally, but the exclusive content is giving me two lines between paragraphs rather than one. The html is different in both fields. In the second field it shows <p> </p> as it does in the record content field, but it also has <p> &nbsp; </p> which is causing the extra line between paragraphs. Is this a setting that needs changing or will it require a template edit to solve it? And if so how would I do it?
  17. The plug ins I've bought from you are so important to my site and the price of them is so reasonable that I have happily signed up for a year's premium membership. Plus you've been very helpful on things like this when you didn't need to so it's the least I can do 👍
  18. Ok @opentype so I think I've got this all set up correctly now, but what do I need to add to get the 'sign up' box and the bottom the preview text, like your one below? Is it a custom widget of some kind?
  19. Wow, yeah that is a much better solution, I love it! Thanks for sharing, I'm going to try to implement that now.
  20. Also, I appreciate that you've got a lot more pressing support requests as loads have done the latest upgrade, so no rush on this one 😀
  21. So for any article that I post on the site, I have a forum post created too. Some of the articles are for subscribers only, but I need everybody in the forum to be aware of them so what I've always done is after posting the article, I would edit the forum post to show only a few paragraphs and then I would add a notification about if you want to read the full artile you need to subscribe blah blah blah Any time I made further edits to the article it would also reflect in the forum post and the entire contents would be in the post again, so sometimes I'd have to go back in and re-edit. Since the upgrade I seem to have lost the ability to edit the forum post more than once. I can edit when it first goes live, but if I make further changes to the article in pages, it changes the forum post too as normal, only now I can't go in and edit so the full contents of the subscriber only article are now visible to all forum users. Any idea how I can fix this so I can can edit a post more than once?
  22. Found it! It was the articles page template and I had an extra </div> in there at the end of the code. All good now, thanks guys.
  23. Ok that makes sense. Where would I need to look for any html errors? As far as I'm aware I have not changed any of the templates. It isn't a theme issue either, as it's the same in a basic theme as it is in my customised one.
