The answer to that question is that you could contact us provided you have left reasonable time for them to respond. This is not to say we would refund on that basis. It would depend on the scenario
Thanks - Whats reasonable time ? 7 days ? month ?

Thanks - @Adriano Faria - Would be nice if this was part of the application though

As per @Randy Calvert it will be a missing module/php function

Is there no way the patches can be auto applied with a button in ACP to say auto apply on/off ? Especially on cloud plans

Under what user account do you recommend running the crontab tasks?
Is there anything else I should be careful about? Maybe a short guide? I do know how to set crontab.
Are you setting up the cron in whm/cpanel or in SSH ?

In reply to to the op: do you use the Clubs feature?
Nope - not found clubs to be of any benefit whatsoever

Try Amazon Send Mail - There is a plugin here for it - Not sure why IPS dont offer it out of the. box as its very good and they use S3

To be fair - even if your on 4.1.1 for example and you upgrade to 4.1.2 (as an example) for a security issue with some bug fixes, things still break, been there done that...... Backup, Backup Backup, then get a few beers and then upgrade......

Whats your hosting ? Shared Server ? VPS ? im guessing not dedicated
Your hitting your resources limits so you need to upgrade to better hosting either with the same hosting provider or a new one - if your on shared then consider a VPS, if your on a VPS consider a bigger better VPS or a dedicated
Or change to Invision Hosting and have all your hosting troubles go way

Im running a forum on PHP 8.1.1 and no problems found (yet)

Our pricing for the new cloud products can be found on the following page
https://invisioncommunity.com/buy
that doesnt show the before and after - ie price increase

Does "At this time" mean other packages will get an increase soon ie other customers packages ?

If this is frequent, might also be worth mod queuing till the user has approved posts. Just really depends how much you want to be seen by the users I guess. The auto-moderation rules is a powerful feature as you're using it 🙂 .
Mod Queueing is a ball ache - as just adds to work, if its automated then its a dream
We also have plenty of block lists in our CSF firewall including stopforumspam which helps a lot - along with various other blocklists including
http://www.blocklist.de/en/export.html
I would also say that having in ACP the ability to limit groups for things like about me etc would be beneficial to stop more spammers

I am preparing a major update for this app. I will send some previews in the coming days.

We found a newbie group with 5 posts that then get auto upgraded to a member - the newbies are restricted on everything and normally the human spammers make 3,4,5 posts in quick succession or within a few hours - of rubbish posts to get promoted so they can post spam or links etc - members on the site always see this and click the report button - 3 reports and the Newbie (more than likely spammer) gets posts hidden and mod approval.....
Works a treat and not a lot of work at all

Have you checked your word or link filters? I see from your settings there, that the group is not set up to bypass those, so that is likely causing it.
Thanks
Looks like your right !

What are the new package prices like compared to the suspended packages ?
Is there an auto-update feature for Invision?

Shame, Perhaps IPS should look at autoupdates like cpanel does.... With a switch to enable, disable etc
