Its easily fixed on a VPS or Dedicated server, not so easy on shared especially if the hosts are useless....... So if your developers any good it a simple fix in most cases.
Disable PHP functions and turn off error reporting.....

CiC = No DB Access - No FTP Access - No File Access.........All you get is the front end and ACP.......

There is also htop - its easier to read and a better interface and does all top does, and iotop for input/output processes on a per process basis and metope for mysql.
As stated above how are you using top ? As there are specific command line options to filter things

You could ask these two developers who current have in the marketplace items for discord and microsoft
The latter isn't compatible with 4.6 though and you need to pick a decent developer who is active and updates to the latest releases or else you will be stuck when you come to upgrade IPS if the mod is not compatible and the author has vanished

The Max Mind error - Whilst this isn't your issue......
To fix this you need to edit the CSF config file in SSH (line 942 of 2680)
nano /etc/csf/csf.conf
Have a read of this - it looks like you havent got a license key - adding that in csf and restarting csf should fix all the MM errors
MaxMind changed from not requiring a license key a while back at the end of 2019 to forcing you to use one - follow the instructions

Have you checked the php.ini file settings for the settings of things like
php_value upload_max_filesize and php_value post_max_size
And also
php_value max_input_time and php_value max_execution_time

I cant check 4.6.9 as i'm running 4.6.10 but in 4.6.10 there is no field 'sys_module_id' that I can find in a default IPB install
EDIT: My Mistake see Sonjas* post below - not sure why my search didnt find it though......

I will have to dump one license and then pay for new bit I want on an existing license - at a cost when I already have it and am happy to pay renewals

To be fair if its an Apache Server and you need to look into Apache then IPS will wash there hands anyways and point them to their host or system admin.......
Nothing wrong with Nginx, no need to cough either

Quite often with shared hosting - no matter what you do to disable dangerous PHP commands, it still doesnt work and more often than not the host isn't willing or able to disable these as its affects all customers on the shared environment.
Can I pay for a service to install a clean and fresh Invision board while retaining posts?

I would start looking for a new web host
IPS will not offer this service for self-hosted - Your on your own with your host and any system admin you feel may be able to help do the job
