  1. Find the id of the field, and then apply this CSS to it: #idofyourfield p:first-of-type{ margin:0; }
  2. In your acp, type display name into the search bar and click on 'allowed display name length'
  3. The checker isn't that sophisticated - it checks for everything that might be needed.
  4. v1.7.0 is now pending approval NEW 'Form customization' settings tab added to allow the following: Reordering of the fields on the form (applicable to when guests use the form) Ability to add a message to the form, to act as an instructional or informational guide to the person using the form. CHANGES Name change to (NE) 'Contact Us' enhancements Minor language changes in the 'Settings' page FIXES None
  5. Go here: https://invisioncommunity.com/clients/purchases/ Click the 'manage' button beside the item Click 'Reactivate'
  6. There's a theme setting for this - Left on desktop = top on mobile
  7. FYI - even when it does become available in the main MarketPlace search, you still won't have an update because you are already running the latest version. There is no update to be performed.
  8. Developer mode disabled: Developer mode enabled: BTW - if you're doing this on your live site, then don't. Install the software on localhost, enable developer mode there.
  9. Hoping to have this one in testing by the end of the week.
  10. Removing prior content - that may not be the only change involved here.
  11. Yep, that's reproducible - works fine on 4.6.12.1 (live site); same filter on 4.7.0 (test site) results in it being held.
  12. Evidently, which is why I commented. Check if it's up to date, and if it still has an issue then let the developer know.
  13. If you are not running the latest version of the app then upgrade. If you are running the latest version of the app, then report the issue to the developer
  14. Put the phrase in to the search bar - edit the result.
  15. Ask your host, there is no such feature in the software.
  16. Important: If it is an alert, then this is what it normally looks like on an unmodified theme: The above cannot be dismissed unless you reply to the notice (the 'Replies' setting on the alert is set to 'Users must reply') - so, you may not be able to change your theme on the front-end at this point. If so, try clicking in that bottom right-hand corner of the dialog to see if the button is there. If you cannot do anything from the front-end then login to the ACP and do the following: find your account click 'Edit preferences' change the 'Theme' to one that is unmodified (if you don't have one, create one via themes) Then you can go back to the front-end and refresh the page to see the alert as it is supposed to look. Ultimately, it's a theme issue revealed by a moderator likely using the Alerts system as a quick way to notify other mods/admins.
  17. @Canis - just a suggestion (one that would be logical instead of the possible cause mentioned above) but have you enabled archiving on your site, which would move content out of your main database and into a separate database? Or maybe your site is of the older type, pre-4.something, and the old way of the value being cumulative but not not taking account of deleted content (it now does, delete content - bang, it's gone from the count)?
  18. Preaching to the choir, mate...I have been in IT support since the mid-90s, and the amount of times I have written something up over those years, to help people report issues better, or to reduce support calls ..whatever...is on a level to the number of beers I have had today. Here's the problem - it relies on the person reporting the problem being directed to the right place (you're posting in 'Community Support' not the official 'Help and support' forum that IPS use, by the way...probably not your fault, last time I checked the language used in the software guides you to the 'Community' for 'Support' so there is the confusion), but it also relies on them searching for the answer, or for ways to figure things out themselves (which relies on effort on that person's part) or to read something that tells them how to report something (Example: "I just upgraded TO version X" doesn't tell you what they upgraded FROM, which is quite useful to understand in a lot of software cases) Good luck, sorry to be a bummer on this one.
  19. Will the app be marked as compatible with IPS 4.7? Yes, at some point - it's not just going to be a compatibility update but will include some additional features (no comment at this time on what those are) This is from the description content of the listing: As you can see, it supports: Forums (so topics/posts) Caledar (so events/comments/reviews) Pages (so database records/comments/reviews. If you don't want it enabled in Forums, then don't enable it - if you just want to use it in Pages databases, then go ahead. Also, please define what you mean by Pages "things" so that I can clarify my answer further, if necessary.
  20. v1.6.2 currently pending approval FIXES Removed some debugging code which was stopping emails being sent Fixed issue with the specific stopforumspam regional API endpoints for Europe and US resulting in a failed check against stopforumspam (main api.stopforumspam.org/api endpoint unaffected)
  21. Scratch that - this is my fault..checking my notes, I also upgraded to my own v1.6.1 on 5th July too, and that introduces the stupid issue which is me leaving some debugging code behind on the hook. Apologies for this to anyone who had upgraded to v1.6.1 - my fault, stupid idiot. Also spotted an issue with the stopforumspam regional endpoint for Europe, so working on that one.
