Can I make a suggestion that you expand the following plugin within KS:
And incorporate it to all applications such as Gallery, Downloads ,Store, Blogs, etc.

    About This File
Classifieds System is an application that enables your members to list items for sale/trade, monetizing your community.
    Requirement:
    Commerce:https://invisionpower.com/features/commerce How does it work?
Admin can enable TRANSACTIONS, which will allow members to buy items directly from another member via app and the advertiser receives the amount paid via account credit. If TRANSACTIONS is disabled, things has to be done manually: member needs to contact the advertiser in ways he wants (he chooses when posting the advert), make the deal, then the advertiser will set the advert as PENDING DEAL. After the payment/deal is done, advertiser sets the advert as COMPLETED. In both cases, if the advert is a SALES advert type BIDS (offers) are allowed if the admin enables the setting and if the advertiser also enables it when posting the advert.
    Notices:
THIS IS NOT AN UPGRADE of the old app (for IP.Board 3.4), so if you used the old app you probably still have data from the old app in your database, take a read on manual.pdf (page 2) in the zip file or request support before you install this app. Each purchase entitles you to use Classifieds System on one Community installation. Features:

Spotted a tiny bug on one of my dev sites. When an update warning is splashed across the top of the page and you have not enabled the pulsating icon feature for these update warnings, KS somehow spashes in an extra div which breaks a single bit of CSS. That, unfortunately, is the top of the page header background stuff (the blue bar across the top of the page on the defualt theme)
For now, just turn on and leave on the pulsating upgrade announcements thing; I'll get this patched soon.

There's very active sites that love it. Admittedly, some that don't as well. Perhaps you can outline specifics in terms of what you'd like to see or what would help the user experience and get the most from the AS. I know for some, the gut reaction is "give us the old way." Let's move past that for a moment and focus on the modern content discovery system that's in place now. What specifically makes it feel "clumsy?" When you reference pagination are you literally meaning you want to click page 6 (and if so, why?) or are you mostly wanting to maintain browser navigation, ie: click a topic, then click back to return to your place in the stream. In the case of the latter, we are working on just that and improving the overall flow of following through the stream. In the case of old-school pagination as in click page 6 -- we've tested different methods and all lead to significant performance overhead given how the stream works. My sense is, you don't really care about arbitrary page numbers, but instead want to maintain your place in the stream (correct me if I'm wrong and please do indicate why) -- in which case, we believe this will be doable.
I'm very anxious for further feedback on this, but let's please keep the focus on the AS -- we're nowhere near the point of considering a "VNC Throwback" feature at this juncture. Tell us what would make the AS perfect for you and what your top issues are, specifically.
    Thanks as always.

Well, bought KS the other day and I have to say @Flitterkill I'm pretty impressed. I wasn't sure if I'd be that impressed but I am. For the sheer joy of changing my error page alone...

Maybe. That was in the last year.
I can't reproduce on 4.1.14.2. Maybe a poster has custom css rules which overrided a background.

Next KS release I'll push out the better Follow button style. If fits in better with the standard IPS buttons.

Regarding support: You are naturally well within your rights to not allow the author access to your community, either a login or filesystem access etc.
However you must bear in mind that this will limit their ability to help you if they have a need for access. This is not dissimilar to say requesting 'official' support via the Client Area for say a Gallery problem but not providing any form of access to said site.
Its obviously your call if you wish to allow the author or not, all I can say is as I've already put it does limit their options to assist without being able to 'see' the problem first hand.
One option here is perhaps if you can duplicate this issue is to setup a 'test site' and when the issue is present there, provide access to that ?

    Totally off topic.
But I do think a Totalitarian vs Libertarian debate regarding the political leanings of certain plugins would be totally fascinating.  Like iAwards by @-RAW- is such a capitalistic pig for grossly incenticizing performance, or Account Deletion by @Adriano Faria is totally like the Anarchists who can destroy society.  Clearly a great political debate rages on in the Marketplace.

I've done it manually, and I quite like it @Joel R. Of course I'm not sure if clicking on this slider will update stats, doubt it, but the link works well.

@onlyME, would be great if it linked into adverts and worked with stats etc. For me, the main thing would be that when adverts expired, they would automatically be removed from this slider.

Whether that's possible or not, I'm loving this plugin. It's got much more potential than I realised.

Because you turn on 'ignore topic with no image' so it only gets the topics that have images.
There is the sorting option to pick topics. Example you pick 20 topics, sort by ID, order Z-A, it will get 20 newest topics. And if you turn on Random, the slider still shows that 20 topics but you will see the topics have other positions in slider every time you refresh page.

Yes, That is the number of images will be displayed in slider. If you set 100, it will get 100 images from 100 topics. You will see the default no-image if your topic has no image.
