For example, in the example i gave you, the embed will use the http version of the image (that's why the issue occurred), but the site also have the https version available.

The plugin doesn't use the image inside content, but the image provided in the head meta tags... there is no https version in there.

I posted a new version under approval now, The problem is that the image is blocked in case you enabled the new setting that disables insecure images (non https).

how do I display the correct URL instead of <__base_url__>?

Also, isn't it possible to bring up the site favicon instead of the link icon?

My suggestion would be to auto-fill the email address with something like the site’s “Incoming email address” so it doesn’t have to be typed in again over and over again.

Again, There's a rule set that blocks your server IP from accessing udemy through cURL, What's hard about that?!

I don't think so, There's nothing more than: php5+, cURL enabled + the server you're trying to access doesn't block cURL requests from your IP (Or doesn't block it at all like AMAZON that requires you to use their API).

I figured it,

I tried a plain cURL HTTP request to the mentioned url and I got server response body as:

    error code: 1020

I don't actually know much about this error code, but if googled, it will return tens of results about cloudflare block rules:

Hello,

The plugin is basically used for embedding external URLs, the IPS system considers aa.bb.cc and bb.cc have the same base url, then both of them are internal URLs.

I think, you would have better to open a support request with IPS to look into this.
