So I made my first "Alert" notice but I wouldn't know because as the author it doesn't seem to display for me. Just asked a moderator to check he hadn't seen it either. When I go to look at the alert it shows this but I can see users have logged in after I created it seems not to be publishing to any one, even though I selected all groups. 

and for a second when I read it I thought it almost looked like a ransom note. 

For a novel of text posted in a forum I would rather opt for something like this, where reader could click and choose to speed read the text.

Alternatively would be cool if you could invoke quickly based on OS the text to speech for it to just read you the post.

Most of these options obviously are not ideal for every post especially with code snippets. 

IPS when designing and planning out new feature please consider making such new features more complete by allowing bulk changes in the ACP that users may wish to change to one or more areas.

All too often new features are stored in a bitwise and there is no interface to effectuate a change en mass.

At least for areas like Forums a new feature should include automatic inherence of a setting to all children making the change to a category that will set/reset to all sub forums is by far more ideal making a change to half dozen categories then making one one at a time in over a hundred forums.

Or even if I am deep in to the settings of a forum a set of buttons  > save and go to next forum where it will save the setting and keep me on the same setting page but for the next forum in sequence.

Id also hope for some kind of discovery tool to see at a glance how a setting is set across the site. 

sure but mark this as un-solved because a solution has yet to be found ( 1 by 1 is not an option )

Seems odd to store such a setting in a bitwise setting instead of a column in the database were you can easily set it with an sql statement.

Last time I checked I think the setting is stored in a bitwise - is there a way to bulk enable this for all forums? vs going thru 100+ forums.

Really? you have no intention to make it pessimistic by nature and keep it wide open with the current entire payload?

There is PII that is provisionally not allowed to be sent to any third party and which they have no business receiving?

So once you fix the json encoding I will have to send it to myself weed out the data elements I do not wish to send if I ever wanted to send data to a third party for processing. I will always have to be the man in the middle as I could never just send a web hook to a third party due to the content and privacy policies in place.

I know we're only talking about, a forum software but as programmers it behooves us to be accountable and self regulate otherwise the powers to be will impose regulation on the industry. - Watch any of Uncle Bobs videos to understand my points.

Just got a love note from FB on their annual checkup - I have not altered anything since I got it up and working. And now they say they get a message that reads:

"You are not permitted to register a user account with this site."

I tried my account by first disconnecting FB from my account settings. Then I logged out of my site and clicked the sign up button. It does a redirect and found my existing account.

But it will not let me reauthenticate - with my FB password or my known site password, which I know both are correct as they are stored in 1Password and also have 2Factor.

However if I log in to the site with my email account and go to CONFIGURE FB in the Settings it connects no problem. 

I watched the video they provided me of their 'experience' and they clicked the sign up page it goes to the full registration page with all the fields that are required at sign up and they didn't fill in any of them but clicked the FB link on the sidebar (Get started faster) they are presented a page to continue as that person and then got the message - However I cannot even see their registration attempt or found their email address. 

If the workflow requires them to Register by entering all fields on the registration form FIRST then the social sign in buttons on the right should be hidden until you've filled in the required fields. 

But all gift cards are inherently paid - no paid invoice no gift card?

It doesn't explain and it just pops up an "Are You Sure?"

however it's installed on my same server as my community. 

A moderator reported that in his tab bar on multiple computers / browsers it will spin for 30-90 seconds sometimes 10 minutes. 

I turned off Matomo and it seemed to stop. 

• Grid View better layout more like Our Picks (no truncating forums names)
• Activity Stream show content with out replies (ability to ignore some forums, pinned topics)
• Ability to grant permission to a person (or group) to manage set of their forums. (like clubs but in the main forums)
• Notification queuing so that if an action is required and admin / mod takes action it suspend sending notifications to others since it's been taken care of.
• Ability to sell advertisement placement in email more exposure to advertisers.
• Granular pessimistic security around web hooks.
• Standard JSON object for web hooks payload.
• Better control to thwart / prevent spammer registrations.
• ACP ability to have dynamic columns to choose from to see in list form (members) 

I am not actively doing any thing. On the blog I add the RSS feed. Oddly it didn’t do so on a newly created blog even with the same feed with or without the radical tags app enabled. so it’s something with older blogs
