  1. Am seeing an error, if I go to support and opt for something is not right

    There are some problems with your database. Normally it is safe to try to fix these problems automatically however if your community is large, you may want to run the necessary queries manually. If so, the queries to run are:

    UPDATE `advancedtagsprefixes_node_settings` SET `node_id`=0 WHERE `node_id` IS NULL;

    ALTER TABLE `advancedtagsprefixes_node_settings` CHANGE COLUMN `node_id` `node_id` BIGINT (20) NOT NULL DEFAULT 0 COMMENT '';

    clicking 'fix automatically' has no effect

    This is running the latest version

    I did also notice that if I enabled the cloud tag widget and set the number to a low figure it just displays 'error' - I do not have many tags to create a proper cloud yet. Might be an issue, might not. Just mentioning in case.

  2. Am now using this great app with gusto, however I think that if someone unsubscribes or even marks the email as spam, i.e. they get onto the rejection list locally then emails are not sent for anything else, such as password reminder, notifications and third party apps.

    I appreciate that if the email is on mandrill's rejection list nothing will go, but sure these other emails should be sent even if the email is only the local rejection list?

    Really we should only see admin newsletter emails blocked and not any other email, ideally this should also apply to the Mandrill held list.

  3. The Bing Maps API will not work with Google Maps.

    You can upgrade to the beta that Stoo has released and grab a Bing Maps API or wait for the full release.

    The custom markers will not show on the beta version though.

  4. member map was working fine for the first week or so, then it seems to have stopped working properly. no one can update their location; they receive an error, and members who try to add themselves for the first time are met with an error.

    for both, the error is the same:

    "Google Maps error: There was an unspecified error locating the address, please try again"

    any help?

    A new version was quickly released a couple of days ago.

  5. im really struggling with uplaoding this to my ftp. I cannot work out which files I exactly need and where to put them them in my forum root?

    Kind regards

    Jack

    Simply upload the files to the same level.

    i.e. the admin folder 'overwrites' the admin folder on your host.

    Okay it doesn't usually overwrite (unless you have uploaded the app before) but it will add the necessary files in their correct location.

    Repeat for any other folders in the zip file. You may have a public folder sometimes for example.
  6. after installing anything, I always copy my master images directory to my laptop - then upload it to each custom skin, ensuring that I have my FTP package set to always ask before overwriting. Then when it asks, I simply skip.

    This way my custom images are preserved and the new ones added by the install are added.

  7. Custom markers works fine now. Great...

    Trying to see if I can find a solution to my members problems with living in the forrest outside the small village. :)

    can they find their location on maps.google.com - if they can then it should work on your member map.
