noticed under my database check I have
member_map_cmarkers_groups
- ALTER TABLE member_map_cmarkers_groups ADD )
member_map_cmarkers
- ALTER TABLE member_map_cmarkers ADD )
-
/public/style_images/master/notifications/notify_map_add.png is missing ;)

Thanks for the update :) Looking great.... however......
Now my members would like a way to do the following....
1) have custom marker pins - i.e. different logos - or perhaps using the wording on blank ones.
and perhaps more importantly
2) the ability to only show certain groups of custom markers. So just like the show friends link, have some way to just show group A or group B of the markers - we will have over 1,000 custom markers in the UK, so the ability to show just one of the 20 odd groups would be a great advantage.
Thanks. -
Sherri is updating her skins - but not sure when they will all be done.

Would the articles system in IP.Content 2.0 help?
-
The maker of this left for another forum software and shut down his site ...
His site is still up and running -
cool - looking forward to beta3 :)
-
looks fine to me :)
-
Where did you find that place at? Talk about a strange city layout..
Why is it strange? -
I've altered slightly from the original plan, markers can be split into groups, each group can have their own colour pin and icon!
thank you :D -
If somehow the security and customizability of vbulletin (look at all the mods at vbulletin.org) could be combined with the management at IPS, the result would be the best forum software ever.
I'm sort of working on IP.Board's security, but I will have to keep using vBulletin as I have customized and modified it too much.
So IPS have hired you to do their security?
Strange you are not a licence holder LOL -
I believe it is in the Conservative manifesto ;)

Thanks !
I have a busy week ahead, then I'm hoping to get an updated version out with custom map markers.
Any update? ;) -
Looking forward to the new version with the ability to add in markers of locations :)
Directions would be awesome :) especially for manually added locations, which is likely to be the most common need for them. Can't see them of being much use for directions to other members, as these markers are unlikely to be exact. -
When viewing your site on my Android phone, your bottom bar is half way up the screen and so is blocking half your text.

the .htaccess should overide, but you could also try
in httpd.conf
<Directory "/path/to/dir">
php_admin_flag allow_url_fopen On
</Directory> -
just found out it has been disabled on all servers i use due to the script kiddies exploiting it to do DOS attacks :(
Thanks for the help anyway..i guess theres no way round this at he moment?
have you tried adding it to your .htaccess file? -
Sorry, Beta 2 is not working for me.
Installed & upgraded.
rebuilt templates and recached skin etc. to make sure.
When I go to add my location, the browser (Chrome) downloads and index.php to my computer. This file consists of the details of my location.
Tried it in IE with the same result.
Beta 1 added the location without any issues.
Also makes no difference if I use the furl or not. -
One more*>_<
No error
*P.S: it is work for France location? or change database sql to do make? ("ALTER TABLE ibf_member_map MODIFY lat FLOAT( 10, 6 ), MODIFY lon FLOAT( 10, 6 )")
You will need to make the database change or alter the sql file prior to installing. -
Maybe I am just being thick here, but how do we....
a) remove the pin for Invision HQ
b) change the default icon?
c) if you have added the Invision HQ manually, is it possible to add our own locations manually?
Thanks :) -
If there is one mod, that I think could do well on this forum, this is it :)
Mind you I can also see a fair percentage of people putting a fake location in the system - a few remote islands may suddenly get forum residents LOL -
Thank you guys and well done :)

So just enter the town :)
In fact I changed my wording from
Your Location:
to
Your Location: (can be address or postcode or town etc.)
