I'm using @TAMAN's Magnum theme, and I'm using the global messages without any widgets anywhere on my site. FYI: just now I tested it with the default IPS blue theme, and the arrow doesn't work there either. You can see the difference on my homepage: https://liquidfractal.org, where the global message shows without the collapse arrow, and my forums section https://www.liquidfractal.org/forums/ which does feature the (nonoperational) arrow. Not as far as I know. At any rate, I haven't downloaded and installed any theme update.

One other thing I noticed: messages I set to appear "in all forums" also appear in other places such as my Profile page and other third-party applications I have installed (e.g. Kevin Carwile's Collabs), when they should by all appearances only appear in the Forums app.

I am using @TAMAN's Magnum theme. I don't have any other plugins for the Profile except your Profile Background 1.0 (which now no longer seems to work with Magnum, even though I installed your patch before). The previous version (1.0) of Profile Video was working fine with the Magnum theme.

Oh yeah, sorry - I was referring to what I read above as a past issue. Anyway, I have two test messages, set to display to all groups in all forums. When I enable the collapse ("Toggle Messages") arrow in the settings it doesn't work at all. I've tried it on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge - all have the same result. Moreover, I also find that the global test messages do not have a collapse arrow when they display on my site's home page, but the arrow does appear when I browse to the Forums. Thanks for the fix; I will apply it now. And yes, I'd be happy to test for you.

I just installed Profile Video 1.0.2 and it doesn't work at all. Things like the Hide Video button appear, but no video or heading at all shows up in my Profile sidebar blocks. Double-checked the plugin and Admin can create, everyone can view.

Is there any special trick to getting HTML within a quote to display? For example, one of my quotes should have a couple of words in italics. I have the HTML in the quote, the quote field is set to accept HTML, and I have changed the display settings for the quote to "Display Custom Format" with {$value|raw} as the value. Am I missing something?

A couple of things with the current version (1.0.0): It seems as if the "Topic authors can manage covers" option overrides the Group permissions directly above it. Example: I have a group called simply "Member," which cannot set covers according to the Group menu. However, he created a topic in a Club and was able to set the photo because "Topic authors can manage covers" is ON. Is this intentional? It seems that the Group permissions should override cover management, not the other way around. Perhaps related to the first one: the Member who created a topic in my Club was not only able to set a photo cover for his topic - when the Reposition screen came up so he could move the topic cover to where he wanted it, he could also adjust the cover image for the entire Club! So obviously that should be fixed.

If this were integrated with Kevin's Points Economy and Commerce store items I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I have a question about how fields are displayed on the SuperQuotes DB page. I've tried to provide more detailed quote information on the DB page, with additional fields containing the quote source and additional information. After some tweaking I've (finally) gotten the records to display more or less the way I want, but there seems to be a problem with rendering raw HTML as per the screenshot below: Now, I've double-checked both fields and they are definitely set to accept HTML, but as you can see the HTML is not rendering. Am I missing something? Or is this perhaps a bug in the IPS DB code?

I see. Is there any possibility that fields like this could be made visible, now or in a future release? I'd really like to be able to include a 1-line source because my site is a learning site and designed to try and counterbalance the thousands of inaccurate quotes out there by including acurate citational sources.

Just bought this plugin and apart from one issue (and the conflict with @Kevin Carwile's Album Link Field plugin) everything seems to be working fine: I added a Quote Source field to the SuperQuotes DB. For the life of me I can't get it to display in a widget...it appears to display in the DB page, but nowhere else.

I've also noticed something else (not sure if this has already been mentioned): even when all messages are disabled, the Collapse arrow will still display if it's enabled in the AdminCP. Ideally, of course, it should disappear if there are no enabled images.

Very cool to hear that all this is in the works! One final question: I assume the admin can configure just how truncated the emails are, e.g. in lines?

Looking at this plugin, but have a couple of questions: Someone mentioned this before, but does this truncate Contact form submissions? I could see that being a very sensible thing to exempt from truncation. Ditto warning emails, etc. I'm not an IPS developer at all, so this might be a naive question: is it possible to have a menu where the Admin could determine which kinds of specific emails or notifications would be truncated and which ones wouldn't? I have Automated Rules set up to give members notifications of when their Points balances have been adjusted, and I don't necessarily want those to be truncated. Hope this makes sense.

HI Mike, Just bought the application - looks good! I was wondering if there was a fix for the toggle messages ability? One other thing: I set up a Message to appear to members who have joined within the last day. It seems to work so far, but there's a small glitch - it also appears after regular members (including the Admin) have fully logged out of the site. In fact, it appears to every guest who arrives at the site, when it should really only appear to new Members who have logged in, and only for X amount of days.

Just thought I'd point out: I just downloaded and installed SuperHelp 1.2, but the plugin details in the AdminCP still describe it as 1.1.0 (10001). I think I installed it twice for that reason.
