  1. Dude, you are awesome....thank you for more quick and professional issue resolution! One question though: I know you can set the slider to be active only on certain Invision apps, but I think it would be great if one could specify it for certain pages. For example, I want the front page slider only on my splash page, which is a Pages page. However, I have other databases in use on my site, and right now the slider always appears on those pages because it's limited to the Pages app. I think some additional granularity in this respect would be amazing! Keep up the great work!
  2. Ok, so I bought the Magnum theme - @TAMAN's work never disappoints. One issue when customising, however: I discovered that the colour for "Important button" under the Button Colors tab is the same colour as the space between account menu items (as per the screenshot below), which should be fixed: The lines separating account menu items should conform with the background colour of that region. Also - and this is important - I find that the editors really look terrible in this theme, which is a very serious issue for me as my site is a writing-based site. Moono looks like this: The default editor theme looks like this: Other uploaded CKEditor skins (here, Kami) fare even worse: @TAMAN is there a way to disable custom display settings for the CKEditor? I notice that the Default skin looks the best out of all the above, and the problematic buttons are in fact custom buttons that I have installed myself. But is there a way to simply use the default editor view (as it looks in the Invision default skin) within the Magnum theme? Because none of these will be acceptable to my clients. Apart from this, I'm enjoying the potential of this theme a lot. Thanks!

  4. lol....thanks! But if it's a background slideshow, the site in the previous link seems to have only one static background. How long until the slideshow changes? Or I guess it's a background slideshow for the middle area?
  5. Is there any way to allow the site member to choose a background, or to stop a slideshow if it starts annoying them? It looks as if this is all Admin controlled. EDIT: never mind - I re-read the description, which says that users can choose their own background. But I don't see a background picker on the demo page at http://hellshammers.net/tit/index.php?/background-slideshow/.
  6. I noticed some breadcrumb issues a little while back and mentioned it to her - she's very conscientious so I'm sure she'll deal with it soon. I asked her this as well - you need to add the questions into a widget in order for them to present as popups. Apparently there were a lot of votes to remove popups from full-page FAQ pages. Hope this helps!
  7. I'm quite interested in the Magnum theme but sm wondering if anyone has had issues with formatting similar to what has been reported in this thread? I'm also wondering if it's possible to limit the article browser and news ticker to the splash page only? Being forced to have it on every page would be a major obstacle for my site. EDIT: reading the graphical blurbs I realise that yes, I can configure it per-page
  8. Just bought this app, which looks great! I intend to use this with Sticky Notes, as they have a different look and can be used for external/internal reasons. One issue: I set up a test note to display only in Gallery (which I call Media Gallery), with a fixed position at the top right. It comes up fine when I load up Gallery (and it can be dragged around the screen, which I think is a great ability!). However, it also appears as a bar at the bottom of the screen as per the screenshot: If this helps troubleshooting, I can click to dismiss the bottom bar separately - that is, it disappears but the original (and intended) draggable notice does not. Note: this only seems to happen when I configure a notice to show from the top right - all the other options seem to display correctly. I also notice that the colour choices for a given notice sometimes do not hold when using a non-default theme. I'm using a couple of @ehren. (IPS Focus)'s themes and the notices sometimes come up as charcoal grey. Not sure if anything can be done about this, or which side (programmer or themer) this may fall upon.

  10. Ok....just my luck. I was hoping my jinx was limited to always picking the grocery items that don't scan correctly, but apparently this extends to IPS apps as well. @HeadStand I just purchased and installed your app since I really really liked some of the demos I saw. I created two collections, then created questions to place in those collections. However, when I attempted to save those questions, I got the following crash: Now, Domains is my name for @Kevin Carwile's Collabs app (the full version of which I have on my site). There is absolutely no possible way I can disable the Collabs app, since it powers so much of what I do on my site in both professional and research capacities. I'm tagging both yourself and Kevin in the desperate hope that there might be some way to fix this? Perhaps it's asking too much to request that there be some solution found between two third-party developers...but I am desperately hoping I'm wrong on that as I dearly want to be able to use a professional-looking FAQ system on my site, as it will be going "official" pretty soon. So (at the risk of tag-spamming), @HeadStand and @Kevin Carwile - help a brother out? For what it's worth, I'm running the latest version (4.2.5) with all IPS modules.

Another suggestion: I'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but would it be possible to configure an on-screen location (i.e. top/bottom, left/right) for each Sticky Note as opposed to having them all in the same location? Moreover, what about adding a "side" option? Anyway, these are meant productively and not critically - really enjoying the app!

  14. A suggestion for some point in the future: is there a way to work in an option to specify an expiry date for Sticky Notes as we can currently do with Announcements? E.g., Sticky Note X will disappear (but remain in the database) after X number of days, or on date X etc?
  15. Thanks @TheJackal84 - a bit swamped too right now doing the family thing but once I'm home tomorrow I'll take a closer look at Sticky Notes and suggest a couple of things. I'm liking this more and more the more I tinker with it .
  16. I understand completely. But I appreciate the very quick response - that's the sort of thing that makes people happy they invested in your product. Thank you! One thing I noticed just this moment is that after clicking Mass Delete and returning to the Sticky Note tabs (1,2,etc), I find that the first 2 Notes are still populated with the old content. Am I missing something, or shouldn't these Notes be entirely clear?
  17. Just bought the app - looks very promising! I may have more comments as I'm starting to experiment with it right now. But one thing I did notice is that there is an unparsed language key for the Sticky Notes heading in the AdminCP, like so:
  18. Maybe you could find a workaround by specifying a separate member group which can be sponsors' secondary group?
  19. I confess I'm not able to get any delete menu (or any menu for that matter) when interacting with the info window on a marker. I just click the marker and get a name and description, with an X option to close the window. Never mind...found it in Member Groups menu, which answered all my other questions

  21. Ok, that makes sense. Is it possible, say, to open the Musicbox in one tab, right-click to open forums or blogs in a second window and write/edit/submit with the music still playng in the other window? That seems to me the only solution right now. @Charles I know I'm bringing this up in the context of one specific app here, but let me ask: would allowing IPS apps/sidebars to load in AJAX be enough of a paradigm-shift to really open up the development possibilities for apps like Musicbox and others? I'm the last person to tell IPS how to code, but could making this possible take IPS to a new level?
  22. I've been keeping an eye on this application for some time, as it's a great idea and looks very promising for those of us who want to add a music experience to our sites. I've read through the support thread but still have a couple of unanswered questions (there are a lot of questions! ): I assume it's possible to restrict all listening to certain member groups, even if it's just changing the permissions on the Musicbox tab? I would only want certain member groups (VIP, Advanced Members, Clients etc) to be able to use this service. I visited the demo site and while the music panel on the bottom of the screen plays music unbroken while you browse the Musicbox app, it cuts out entirely when one goes to forums. This is kind of a deal-breaker for me, as I would need my users to be able to listen to music while they browse/write in forums, blogs, Clubs and collabs in Kevin Carwile's Collabs app. But I was led to believe that this was fixed (even though there is a slight pause in the song when loading, which I can live with)? Thanks again - your apps look fantastic!

I also find that when I create an article linked to an album created from scratch (and go through the Page Not Found and return to the article), if one clicks the album name in the article listing (the black heading under the title), it doesn't actually take you to the album - it takes you to the article. You have to click the link once more (in the article) to get to the album.
  25. Hi Kevin, Just purchased your Album Link plugin, which I find quite useful! I notice the following however: If I create a new article in a Collab category and choose to create a new album to link to within a Gallery category in that Collab, when I save the article I get a Page Not Found error. However, when I return to the article it has been saved and the album has been created. It also seems that the "mini-album" display at the bottom of an article with a linked album doesn't always work. In my case: so far as I can tell, if I link to an album which has been created inside a Collab I get the images at the bottom of the article. However, if I change this to link to an album created months ago and which doesn't reside in a Collab I only get a link to the album. I also see that if one sets the Link Album function to optional, and then creates an article without a linked article, the article is presented in the listing with a null value for the Related Album flag under the title, like so: EDIT: I also notice now that when I delete my test article from my Collab category the articles section is now empty, but the count still reads "1 item in this category." Not even clicking the Recount Collab Stats button fixes this right now. In fact, when I add a new article to this db category and save it, the count remains at 1. Even if I add two test articles, then delete them both the count remains at 1. Moreover, after creating two test linked albums and deleting them, and recounting the Collab stats, the count for my Collab Gallery reads "-1 items." Hope this helps troubleshooting and debugging. I'll keep tinkering and post my followup here.
