  1. He wants to be able to perform the search without having to enter a search term or tag. In IP.Board 3.4, you can view a member's posts in this fashion, while applying additional criteria if need be. Without having to enter a search term. This is extremely useful, and I perform searches like this routinely on my forum. ..Al
  2. Seconded, I get frequent requests from members asking how they can save a conversation. People setup large conversations with many people that can run for a long time, and there's no way way archive those conversations. ..Al
  3. This is an important feature for my site as well, as I regularly need to look through someone's posting history without having to enter a specific tag or keyword.
  4. That's great, thanks for the quick response! Can you describe what you plan on doing for shipping?
  5. This really looks great, but does it have any support for providing shipping costs? Pretty much everything that people sell on my forum requires shipping. And, shipping costs can vary quite a bit between US domestic shipping, Canada, and other international destinations. Ideally there would be a way to enter one or more shipping fields, such as: Shipping: US: $4.50 Canada: $11.00 International: $20.00 You could also allow people to enter the method of shipping, US: $4.50 (First Class Mail) US: $8.00 (Priority Mail) Canada: $11.00 (USPS First Class International) International: $20.00 (USPS First Class International) Options need to include "Local Pickup" and "Free". As well as to not show the shipping information if the seller didn't specify any. The additional of something along these lines would make this more compelling for use on my forum Thanks for your consideration!
  6. I have a paid Mandrill account.
  7. I cannot even get IPS 3.4.x to work with Mandrill, so I have wasted my money thus far on this mod. ..Al
  8. Mandrill responded and stated, "It looks like your question may be answered in our Knowledge Base. Please take a look at the following article for more information, and let us know if you have any additional questions." Seriously? I sent a detailed report describing what was happening and ways I tested it, and you send me a generic response stating to look in the knowledge base (which I had done before, and is not terribly helpful)? Thanks. ..Al
  9. Well, the problem at the moment is with Mandrill, and unfortunately they still have not responded to my support request! I may try creating a new API key and seeing if that works. Really would like to get this going!
  10. I purchased this mod, installed it on my 3.4.x forum, created a Mandrill account, setup DNS entries as necessary, and made some modifications to my firewall so my server could connect to Mandrill's servers. I then tried to enable Mandrill support from within the ACP, but received an error that authentication failed (I was using the proper username and API key for the password). "The information provided was not accepted by Mandrill. Please check the values provided and try again" I ultimately tested it via telnet and received an authentication error (bad password), so I now have a support ticket open with Mandrill so they can help me. Has anyone else ever seen this?
  11. Thanks! I'll see if I can get that done this week. I haven't read through this entire thread yet to see what's involved
  12. Would I be able to use it to at least clean up the likely enormous number of bounces I'm sending from my server? I haven't cleaned up bad emails in a long time. I don't mind paying Mandrill (MailChimp) for a few months, as long as it's a monthly subscription with no yearly contract required. I could then switch to SparkPost when I move to 4.x, but even that may still cost me monies. ..Al
  13. I will certainly purchase this when I upgrade my forum to 4.x. Does anything like this exist for IP.Board 3.4.x? Thanks!
  14. Thank you for adding this feature. On my forum, I am the only individual with access to the ACP. I am also manually validating users (after email validation) to stop spammers. I would love to offload some of the validation to a few moderators I trust to do so, without giving them access to the ACP. Plus, this mod will make it easier for me to validate users as well.
  15. That's part of the point in being able to moderate from search results, that is, being able to act on the results regardless of where they originated. ..Al
  16. Agreed, and I started a topic about this last year: This is a pretty glaring omission from the search results moderation. I was excited when moderation in search results was first announced, but then very disappointed when I saw the single feature I really needed (being able to move topics) was missing. ..Al
  17. Will do, thanks. I won't have a chance to try this out until Monday morning, but I'll report back here as soon as I've tried it out. ..Al
  18. That's too bad, I'd be willing to pay you to update it for 3.1.4. I used it on my 3.0.5 forum and my users are wondering when I'll be installing it on 3.1.4 (which I just upgraded to a few days ago, finally). ..Al
  19. I use this on my forum as well, so a 3.1 update would be much appreciated. :) ..Al
  20. Looks good now, thanks. :D ..Al
  21. Your teaser image in this post is not working. Can you please fix it so I may be teased? Thanks. :) ..Al
  22. Yeah, Stoo2000 is aware of this issue. It happens on my forum as well (when either the group name or display name is too long). ..Al
