  1. Stoo, told you!! :D ..Al
  2. That mod is fine for a single conversation, but if you have hundreds of conversations in your inbox it's not terribly useful. There needs to be a way to export all your conversations so you can download them together. ..Al
  3. These are both excellent ideas and get my vote!! ..Al
  4. Oh, I see, it only failed when someone was actually VIEWING the Member Map. LOL, I was thinking it would fail if members who added themselves to the map happened to be online.. ..Al
  5. Thanks for the patch, I've applied it to my forum. ..Al
  6. Sounds good, I'll wait! ..Al
  7. Ahh, okay, thanks. Guess I better patch that online list issue myself. :) ..Al
  8. Just curious, when do you plan on releasing the next beta? Thanks, ..Al
  9. I'm not seeing the error in the online list and I know there are members in the Members Map who are online. Is it not consistent? ..Al
  10. Agreed, this would be good. Ahhh, the whole "avatar versus photo" business (which is being discussed elsewhere). I personally feel the avatar should be used everywhere on the forum except for the user's profile page, so I respectfully disagree with you here. You see the user's avatar associated with posts, which is where most users spend their time on the forum. Thus, it's easier to make the association when you see the avatar elsewhere (for instance, on these maps). That's a great idea, actually--users on my forum have meetups all the time, and there are various gaming events that would be fun to show here. Actually, tying this to the calendar would be a blast. :D ..Al
  11. I'm sometimes seeing the info box (when you click on the pin) not being drawn large enough to contain the user's avatar. Here is an example: ..Al
  12. Double-click zooming works if I click on the map, but you can't directly zoom in on a pin. Is there any way to do that? Thanks, ..Al
  13. Excellent, thanks! :D ..Al
  14. Would it be possible to have some way to zoom into a particular pin? Such as double-clicking it, or adding a link to the Info box that would allow you to do that? Right now it's pretty cumbersome to try and zoom into a particular pin. Even being able to double-click the pin to center the map on it would help (since you could then zoom in more easily). ..Al
  15. Ahh, yes, I did look at that. LOL. :D I've removed it now, I'm afraid. :P ..Al
  16. What info window are you referring to? Sure, here is a link: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?app=membermap I've given Guests permission to view the map. ..Al
  17. I just installed this on my forum--should be fun. Can you please add the ability to remove the Invision location? I don't really need to see that in my map. Also, it would be cool if there was a way to set the location of the forum itself and have it highlighted with a different color pin/icon. I've had a report already that the Member Map does not work properly in IE8. I haven't tried it myself in browsers other than Firefox just yet. ..Al
  18. Yes please!!! I've had need for this on numerous occasions and it's a big pain making another permissions mask for a single user to exclude him or her form that forum. ..Al
  19. Bumping this up as I have created some new forums on my site recently (including one tonight) and I would absolutely LOVE to be able to search for a term and then be able to easily move all of the returned results into a new forum. Would love to see this in 3.1. :) ..Al
  20. Same here, I love this skin and so do my members! And Tim made a ton of great improvements to it yesterday. Well worth the purchase. :) ..Al
  21. You're right and I apologize. I was just aggravated at the time and shouldn't have said that. I believe what was causing my particular problem was XCache. When I was knee deep in skinning work for IP.Board 3.0, I had to disable XCache as changes I was making to the skin would not be reflected immediately. And there doesn't seem to be any way to disable XCache on a per-directory basis or even on a domain basis (it's affects all the domains you have on a server). Since I haven't done any skinning work in a while, I forgot about this issue. I know you and everyone at Invision are working quite hard and I very much appreciate it. I'm looking forward to watching IP.Chat stabilize and evolve over time. ..Al
  22. Coming from you this is pretty damn hilarious! ..Al
  23. There is definitely something funky going on--I just went to make sure I had "ipchat.css" in my "AtariAge" skin, and when I click on the template bit I get an "ACP Session Has Expired" message. Clicking OK just dismisses the dialog box and nothing happens. If I click on the template bit again I get the same error. Something definitely got screwed up during the upgrade. I wish Invision wouldn't be so quick to assume their users aren't properly following directions. ..Al
  24. First, ten users is not very many, especially for scheduled chats that take place at a certain date and time. I routinely have hundreds of users on my forum, and there are many busy forums that will certainly want more than 10 users to be able to use the chat at any given time. Second, because Invision is hosting the chat server backend, this will greatly cut down on your server load, allowing you to host much larger chats than you might ordinarily be able to on a shared server environment. Once the chat page has loaded, the Invision servers will be managing the chat traffic, not your server. And third, you might be surprised at the number of large forums out there running on dedicated servers. ..Al
