  1. Just curious if there's been any movement on this? My forum is now updated to 4.7.1 (from 4.4.x), and I'm having users report that this is still an issue. I'm glad to see I can delete quote boxes on my iPhone using the stock Safari browser, but it seems some people with Android devices are still having issues. Thank you, ..Al
  2. Hi Martin, and thank you for your reply! This makes sense, I have written Invision to see if they can help me with this. I definitely have no plans on uninstalling Member Map until I get Community Map installed and the data is migrated over. Understood, it was confusing since it already showed that I could download Community Map, but I'm sure that's because I made the mistake of associating Community Map with Member Map in the ACP. Thanks again and take care, ..Al
  3. I updated the subscription text and removed that silly table. Looks much better now, thank you again. Take care, ..Al
  4. Thank you, Ehren, I just copied that text from the previous product page, and it didn't even dawn on me that there was a fixed-width table (and of course there is, looking at it). I apologize for my earlier comment. ..Al
  5. I just converted my Subscriptions from the old Subscription products to the newer Subscriptions. Unfortunately, and of course I didn't realize this until after I did this, the layout of the Subscriptions page is terrible. Text does not wrap within the boxes, and depending on page width, the graphics can get cropped as well. Am I missing something? I don't understand how this was released in this state. It looks like this is something I am going to have to fix myself. ..Al
  6. Greetings! I purchased Member Map some time ago and until yesterday was using it on my 4.4.x forum. Yesterday my forum was upgraded to 4.7. This is when I discovered that Member Map was replaced by Community Map. Unfortunately, I think I went about "upgrading" my Member Map the wrong way -- at some point as I was exploring the 4.7 ACP, I came to a page that asked me to associate all my installed plugins and apps with those in the Invision Maketplace. Since I could not select Member Map, I chose Community Map instead. Well, this appears to have been a not-well-thought-out move, as now the ACP thinks I have Community Map installed, even though I don't, and clicking on "Marketplace" for Member Map now does nothing in the ACP. I don't want to uninstall Member Map in case it takes all the data with it. What I want to do is install Community Map, then run it so it'll pull the data from Member Map, and then I can remove Member Map when I'm done. Does anyone know how I can go about doing this? Thank you!
  7. Greetings! We want to setup polls that have "Hide results until the poll is closed?" enabled. And we want moderators of that forum to be able to view the results before the poll is closed. I can do this as the admin, but I cannot find the appropriate moderator permission to do allow moderators to see the results. Here's what I found related to this in the ACP (this is in Moderators -> Content at the bottom of the page): You'd think that "Can see poll votes?" would do the trick, but it doesn't work for this specific case. The "Show Results" link is visible to me, but not a moderator who has the above permission. Thanks in advance for any insight in how to do this. ..Al
  8. I setup a test install of my 4.4.x forum recently so I could start work on upgrading it to 4.6.x. As part of this process, I replaced MySQL with MariaDB 10.5 and it seems to work well. The upgrade from 4.4.x to 4.6.6 ran fine. No idea if it's faster or slower than MySQL since right now I'm the only one hitting it, but I will try to do some load testing before I make this change on the production server.
  9. I am also someone who attempts to search before starting a new topic, but unfortunately the search here is not very good. It would be immensely helpful if you defaulted to AND'ing search terms, but even then I often have to use google's "site:invisioncommunity.com" feature to find relevant topics here.
  10. Thanks, I must have updated this when I upgraded to 4.4.x about two years ago. 😄
  11. Glad to know this, as I manually validate registrations after the member email validates. So I rely on those emails to know there are users I need to validate. I'm still on 4.4.x, but am working on validating to 4.6.x, and this would have confused me as well.
  12. Guess I've never seen or used that. Will have to look! 🙂 I was thinking it had something to do with the new badges feature.
  13. In the video he sent me, I did see he's using a password manager to login with. As he has two accounts, I saw that he had to choose which username/password to use. It's quite possible the password manager is hitting the Twitter button. Let me ask him to login manually instead of using that browser (or browser plugin) password feature and see if that makes a difference. I would not be surprised at all if that's what's happening. Will report back here once he tries that. No, I don't have anything like that, which I assume is a 4.6 feature? I'm still on 4.4.10 (but not for long, I hope). 😄 Thank you.
  14. I looked in the ACP at both accounts, and neither of them show he is connected to Twitter. I then logged in to both accounts from the ACP and neither of them are connected to Twitter or any other services. This is what I see for both of them: The video he sent me clearly shows the forum redirecting to that Twitter authorization page as soon as he logs in. I am not seeing that behavior, either when logging in through the ACP or logging in manually using the username/password. And neither account is connected to Twitter. And I've never had any other users describe this behavior. I'd like to believe it's something on his own machine, but he also tried this on multiple machines (of course, both machines are probably configured in a similar fashion). It's really bizarre.
  15. Thanks for the response. I asked him for a video and he sent me one that shows him logging in and the forum immediately redirecting him to the Twitter authorization screen. I also asked him if he signed up using Twitter and he says he has not. I can look at his account settings to see if he's enabled Twitter. Is there any way I can tell in the ACP if a user registered using Twitter or another service?
  16. This is a new one for me... I have a user attempting to create an account on my forum, and stating that after they register and login, they are being prompted to link their Twitter account. They have created two different accounts and have tried multiple computers, but this is apparently happening consistently. If I login to the account via the ACP, I do not see this. The customer gave me the password to the second account they created, so I tried logging in normally and I also do not see this issue. I have never seen this issue before nor has anyone ever reported it to me. I also created a new account and verified that this new account was able to login without this authorization request showing up. Here's the authorization prompt they are seeing (I hid their Twitter account name, which is normally visible at the top of the page): If anyone has any insight as to why this might be happening, that would be greatly appreciated. Currently running 4.4.10 (yes, I will be upgrading to 4.6.x soon, working on that now). Thank you!
  17. Thank you @Jim M, that did the trick! I don't think I've ever manually edited these settings before, and I had no idea there was custom URL associated with them. I assume that the conversion from 3.4.x to 4.4.x populated all those fields (I don't recall if 3.4.x had these same settings or if they were introduced in 4.x). I'm kind of curious how these two pages of Storage Settings look on a new, stock install of Invision, as this seems like cruft carried over from 3.4.x. Every single one of the many settings on the Storage Settings page points to the same uploads directory, so it would be helpful to know how people typically have this setup in 4.4.x. Thanks again for your help, if this happens again now I'm at least familiar with those Storage Configuration settings so hopefully I'll be able to resolve it myself!
  18. Yeah, that was one of the first things I did, as well as disabled Redis caching.
  19. Unfortunately, the above values don't match at all what is in ACP -> Files -> Storage Settings -> Configuration. And the storage settings look correct as well: What I'm seeing is the pages still contain tons of references to AtariAge.com (for instance, it's trying to load all the CSS from that server instead of my test server which is running on another domain), even though I cannot find that domain anywhere in any settings. I also searched through the settings in the database to see if there were any references there, but they could be hiding in other tables for all I know. This is not an issue with the production sites. I'm trying to setup a test site so I can do test upgrades from 4.4.10 to 4.6.6, which is going to be a fair bit of work before I can upgrade the live site (have a custom theme that needs to be redone, several commercial third-party skins that have to be updated, and a slew of plugins/apps, many of which have not been updated from 4.4.x to 4.6.x as they were custom work), and of course I need to make sure the actual upgrade scripts work (as I've had issues with them failing in the past!) If you'd like to look at the test site, I'd be glad to give you the URL to that and any other information you may need. I really would like to get this issue resolved, as it's preventing me from doing any further work on the upgrade. Thanks!
  20. Seeing the same message (or messages) every day even though I dismissed the same message the previous day is supremely annoying. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to just upgrade your forum when such a message appears. Smaller forums, sure, but when you have a large forum with a custom theme (as well as third-party themes) and various third-party plugins and applications (many of which were custom jobs written for your forum), it's non-trivial to just update your forum on a whim, especially with major revisions of the software. I know I need to upgrade the forum, I don't need to be reminded every single time I visit my forum or ACP.
  21. I've done both several times, it hasn't made any difference whatsoever.
  22. So, I took a look in the datastore directory after nuking it and then reloading a page.. There's a file by the name storageConfigurations.7b9af95956.php, so I took a look at it, and sure enough it has various references to atariage.com instead of the test URL I'm using: My Storage Settings / Configurations are all correct, so no idea where it's getting these incorrect URLs from.
  23. This is what I'm seeing, btw. This is the ACP, the forum looks about the same.
