Actually, you're incorrect. IP.Shoutbox is an official IPS release and it's released by IPS Resources. Check out the information at IPS Resources. I'm just not bothering with either of these releases because of the problems I'm having with their installs. It's really bothersome that I've had these problems with installing these addons. -
austinreefclub got a reaction from bfarber in Application Link Order
Under "Manage Applications & Modules" I think it should be possible to order the links regardless of their category. Please consider adding the ability to reorder like this for a future release. My desired order would be:
CCS | Forums | Blog | Gallery | Members | Calendar | Subscriptions
Kindest Regards,
Andrew

I felt like smacking someone when I saw this thread's title.

austinreefclub reacted to Martin A. in Raw PHP to be parsed while listing apps in navigation
I'd like to request something similar like settings evalPHP for applications.
As it is now, all apps with a public title is shown, no matter if the user has access to it or not. A field for raw PHP code could "solve" that.
$show = 1; if ( ! in_array( $this->memberData['member_group_id'], explode( ',', $this->settings['theseHaveAccessToIt'] ) ) { $show = 0; }
And, a checkbox to completely hide the application from the main navigation, allowing us to make UCP-only applications, and similar.

austinreefclub reacted to Timan in Feedback on skin changes & lofi skin
Its a bit different, but I'm working on one for neowin.net. I'll most likely end up releasing it (with different graphics) after ipb3 final comes out.

austinreefclub reacted to Michael in Editing hook settigs requires IN_DEV
Currently, in order to edit a hook to change something like which template it hooks into, you have to turn on IN_DEV mode. This is bad because it puts the whole site into developers mode. We should be able to edit a hook's properties without having to enable IN_DEV.

Tempting thought it is - and we've all done it - there's a lot to be said for not raising your members expectations when it comes to updates to your board that aren't in your hands.

austinreefclub reacted to bfarber in IPB3 Beta 4
Exactly. We will look at feature suggestions when we begin work on 3.1 or whatever.
We will see a beta 5, yes. That is the plan right now at least.
