I appreciate what you are saying there, but that being the case, the same could be said for anything else causing the problem
Jim M Posted April 25 Posted April 25 Could you please clarify what is being done when receiving this? It looks like an image is being resized but has invalid properties.

Grafidea Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 This is an error that's triggered by some spammer. Can we block the IP from the IPS panel?
Randy Calvert Posted April 25 Posted April 25 The software is not the place where you would want to block/ban an IP address. If they reach the software, the request still has to be executed. You would want to block them either at the network layer with a WAF (like Cloudflare) or at the server layer with a server firewall (CSF or .htaccess blocking). Jim M 1

Grafidea Posted April 25 Author Posted April 25 After blocking the spammer's IP, the errors in the event log stopped. The rest must be verified by the IPS team to see if this is an error that needs to be fixed.
