  1. @Marc Stridgen I installed the patch, however, the aforementioned error still persists.
  2. Hi, after updating to 4.7.16, my Topic Feed stopped displaying. It's only visible when I disable the option: 'Honor permissions?.' If the 'Honor permissions' function is enabled, the Topic Feed does not display, but when I disable this option, it does display. Previously, it displayed without any issue, but after updating to 4.7.16, this error occurred.
  3. @Marc Stridgen Can you explain more or less how to do it?
  4. Hi, what CHMOD settings should be set for IPS folders and files to ensure everything works properly? As I understand, is it uploads folder set to 777? Also, cron task.php, and the rest?
  5. Is there any approximate release date for version v5 yet?
  6. I offer template / styles creation for IPS and engine translation to Polish.

  8. Fair if you use all apps. If only from the forum, it's not fair.
  9. Question. Will there be anything new besides cleaning up the code, new editor, fontawesome?

    V5 - Labels

Currently, there is a lack of options for creating and adding labels with various content and colors that can be attached to a specific topic. Something like this but built in IPS and supported:
  12. @Matt As you know, a lot of people use mobile devices, and I hope that V5 will bring many conveniences and improvements in terms of forum usability. It seems to me that the majority of users visit the forum from their smartphones rather than from a computer.
  13. I tested and still the same problem. The window pops up from time to time and disappears, while in incognito mode after each refresh.
  14. The database also needs a major overhaul.
  15. a more modern look that encourages interaction.
  16. @Matt Will the email template also be renewed?
  17. CKEditor 5 and Fonts Awesome will be 99% in V5
  18. Unfortunately, the cookie popup still appears upon refreshing the page. I tested it on the default template, and the issue persists. I cleared the cache, Cloudflare cache, and the problem remains the same. Could you please verify this? BimmerTech - Forum BMW - Najlepsze forum BMW - Google Chrome 2023-07-25 12-32-27.mp4
  19. Don't forget about visual experiences as well; most forum owners are laymen and pay more attention to appearance, simplicity, and functionality rather than source code. I hope @Ehren comes up with something cool.
  20. Thorough code refactoring, improved optimization, modernized appearance, full support for SVG graphic files. In my opinion, V5 should not support older versions of PHP older than 8.0 or 8.1.
  21. Problem solved? still occasionally pops up when the page is loading.
  22. Internet standards such as RFC 3986 on URI syntax explicitly state that diacritics should not be used in links. It is recommended that URLs contain only basic alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) and some special characters such as '-', '_', '~' and '.'. This allows for compatibility and consistency between different systems and platforms. URLs with accented characters may be difficult for some users to read and understand. Especially people who are not proficient in a given language may have problems entering and recognizing such addresses. This can lead to errors and confusion. It is worth noting that while diacritics are not recommended in URLs, some browsers and operating systems may automatically replace some diacritics with their ASCII equivalent (e.g. "ł" becomes "l"). Nevertheless, for consistency and compatibility, it is recommended to avoid diacritical marks in links and use simple, readable URLs. Amen
  23. Diacritical marks can make links difficult to read and make them difficult to remember. Links should be as understandable and intuitive as possible for users. If the link contains diacritic marks, it may require special handling by the user, such as copying and pasting, to use it, which can be impractical and annoying. Since the internet is a global medium, it is important to ensure that links are readable and work properly on different platforms. It is important to create links that are simpler and understandable for users.
