Manually setting a date for publishing content - gone in 4.7.6?

Hi all,

I've just installed a test version of 4.7.6 as my community is using 4.4, so I want to make sure everything works but I noticed when I add content it no longer gives the option to set a date to publish, so everything is immediate. Is this a feature which was removed? Or now a setting to be enabled?

Future publishing is not something that has been removed, no. You would need to ensure you have the moderator setting "Can set a future publishing date?"

You mean in topics? It was added only in 4.7.0: 

It is used in other apps before that though.

I'll take a look as I'm the only user on it at the moment so I'm set as Administrator. But I'll check that setting, thanks.

As mentioned above by Adriano, it wasnt actually present at all before the latest release. If you are indeed referring to forums, you may have been using a 3rd party application for this

Sorry, it's related to Pages and Blogs.

I'm not able to see this setting, would you happen to know where I can find it? I tried using the search function in ACP but nothing popped up.

On pages database entries, you need to go to the fields and make sure you can see "Publish date". It then works from the same setting in the moderator area that was mentioned above. Blog entries also work of that setting. You can see it then at the bottom when you submit an entry
